Qin Youxuan paused, pulling the phone away to check the incoming caller’s name.
Seeing the words “Big Devil”, she snapped back to reality.
“I didn’t… I was just taking a shower, so I didn’t answer the phone…” Qin Youxuan instinctively defended herself, not wanting Dan Hanjie to know that she was once again entangled with Jin Chenye.
“Your ability to tell lies with a straight face is really improving. Do you think you can bathe by sitting on the floor? Qin Youxuan, can your lies get any more ridiculous!” A magnetic, low voice echoed in her ear, making Qin Youxuan’s body instinctively tense up.
She lifted her head blankly, watching Dan Hanjie, who had just climbed in through her window, her eyes wide like a cat’s.
She even forgot to hang up the call.
“You… how did you get in…”
What she actually wanted to ask was when had he arrived?
“Earlier than you think.”
Dan Hanjie knew what she intended to ask, his charming eyes flicked towards her surprised expression, he moved closer with satisfaction, hooking her chin with a smirk, “So surprised to see me that you’re speechless?”
