For a while, no one spoke.
Jin Chenye, clad in a white casual outfit, always held an aura of warmth and distance. Now, his handsome face was covered by a gloomy shadow.
His keen gaze was intently focused on Dan Hanjie, who had just emerged from Qin Youxuan’s room.
Dan Hanjie lazily leaned against the wall, his majestic figure radiant like porcelain in the dim light, with a permanent mocking smile on his mouth.
His bewitching eyes glanced at the angry Jin Chenye, then half-closed nonchalantly.
Hands tucked into pockets, he stood nonchalantly.
“This is the Qin family residence.” Upon noticing Dan Hanjie had no intention of explaining anything, Jin Chenye’s brows furrowed and his voice hardened.
“Are you sitting here waiting for me early in the morning just to tell me that, Mr. Jin? How idle.” Dan Hanjie sneered, throwing his hair back with his hand, the gesture enticingly provocative. “I know that this is the Qin family’s residence, otherwise I would not be here. What, are you planning to arrest me?”
Jin Chenye’s eyes flickered, but he made no move.
Everyone in Fico City respected Dan Hanjie, calling him Mr. Jie. He was well aware that even the security forces and the police wouldn’t dare touch him.
Any actions against him would likely result in a police escort, driving him safely home.
And if the media got wind of this, it would only serve to harm Qin Youxuan’s reputation.
This was not what he wanted to see…
To deal with Dan Hanjie, he first needed to ruin him, to topple the Dan Group and render him worthless.
Jin Chenye’s eyes tightened, his hand clenching and unclenching into a fist.
After a while, he turned and strode away.
Dan Hanjie stood upright, his captivating eyes fixed on the departing Jin Chenye, his pupils narrowed.

A cold spark flickered in Dan Hanjie’s eyes.
He disappeared as swiftly as a ghost from the spot.
Qin Youxuan was awakened by the bustling sounds outside.
She grabbed her alarm clock, saw the time, and quickly got up.
After a quick wash, she hurriedly grabbed her bag and rushed out, without even having time to eat breakfast.
Upon leaving the living room and seeing rows of people standing in the yard, she was taken aback.

As the butler’s voice fell, everyone in the yard echoed the greeting in unison.
There weren’t any servants yesterday, so why had so many people suddenly appeared and started calling her Young Mistress?
The sight of dozens of people addressing her felt as if she had turned into a queen overnight, receiving her subjects’ tribute.
“Butler, who are all these people?”
“These people have come to apply for servant positions at the Qin family home today. Besides housekeepers, there are drivers, cooks… Oh, and your personal bodyguard. It’s chaotic right now and it would be good to have someone by your side.”
