Bai Wei is screaming hysterically.

Dan Hanjie steps forward, lifting Qin Youxuan up and letting Bai Wei fall.
Without a single word, he turns and walks away.

“If you dare to speak a word on her behalf, I’ll let her stay. But I promise, you will regret it,” Dan Hanjie grips her hand hard, his teeth clenched.
Qin Youxuan blinks, biting her lip and remaining silent.
She’s not Mary Sue; she won’t plead for Bai Wei. But wouldn’t he feel guilty if Bai Wei truly died?
With a conflicted heart, Qin Youxuan clutches the hem of her dress, almost tearing it apart.
“She’s just trying to threaten me with her life. If she doesn’t get what she wants, she won’t die,” Dan Hanjie glances at the dazed Bai Wei, whispering coldly.
Each word devoid of any emotion.
Qin Youxuan furrows her eyebrows deeply.
Looking at his hand tightly gripping hers.
His palm is sweaty. Dan Hanjie is actually worried about Bai Wei.
Before Qin Youxuan could finish, Dan Hanjie suddenly shouts and releases her hand, rushing towards Bai Wei as she falls and sweeps her up in his arms.

Upon reaching the entrance of Yujing Villa, a sports car drives from the garage and abruptly stops in front of her.
The person driving is Yao, who rushed over after hearing the commotion.
Dan Hanjie, with Bai Wei in his arms, sits in the back seat. The blood on her forehead has soaked his shirt and dripped onto the leather car seat. Her bloody face is terrifying.
“Come with me.” Dan Hanjie pushes open the car door and his towering figure steps out from the back seat.
Qin Youxuan is pulled into the car by him, shock leaving her momentarily speechless.

The gloominess she saw in him when he rushed down the stairs cradling Bai Wei disappeared instantly.
Qin Youxuan blinks and pushes the car door open to get out.
“I’m fine, take her to the hospital quickly. I’ll wait for you to come back.” Qin Youxuan takes two steps back and waves her hand.
Dan Hanjie’s eyes narrow as he watches her for a few seconds before ordering the car to be driven away.
Qin Youxuan stands still, watching the sports car drive away from Yujing Villa, her smile vanishing completely.
