Chapter 292: Dawn Will Come After Endurance
The next moment, Dan Hanjie took the bowl in front of her.
“Um, this bowl is mine, yours is over there.” Qin Youxuan looked at her empty hand and paused before raising her head and pointing at another bowl of noodles next to him.
Isn’t he obsessed with cleanliness, then why did he take her noodles?
Dan Hanjie frowned, grabbed another pair of chopsticks from the side, and started eating the noodles.
It took a while for Qin Youxuan to register what was happening.
He…he is eating her noodles…
In just a few minutes, Dan Hanjie had finished the bowl of noodles and slammed the bowl on the table declaring, “Tastes bad.”
For something he thought tasted bad, he ate it fast.
“Got a problem with that?”
“N-No, if you think it tastes bad, I’ll eat it.” Qin Youxuan didn’t bother arguing with him, and just reached for the other untouched bowl of noodles next to him.
Just as she was about to touch the rim of the bowl, someone took the bowl away.
Qin Youxuan’s hand froze in mid-air.
Dan Hanjie had picked up the other bowl of noodles and started devouring it again.
A few minutes later, he pushed an empty bowl in front of Qin Youxuan, repeating the same sentiment, “Tastes bad.”
Qin Youxuan was furious.
Those were her noodles!
“I’m full, do you still want to eat?”
“Sorry, but I ate it all.” Dan Hanjie looked at her angry little face, with a mysterious smile curling up the corners of his mouth.
Infuriated, Qin Youxuan stood up from the table, turned around and fell into his arms.
He then carried her to bed.
“After you are full and warm, you start having lustful thoughts, you little vixen.” His warm breath sprayed on her delicate earlobe, his magnetic voice laden with suppressed desire.
“If you want to fantasize, fantasize on your own, I’m hungry!”
He ate both bowls of noodles and still dared to talk about satisfying lust after being full and warm. Drop dead already!
Qin Youxuan turned her back to him, closed her eyes, and tried hard to hypnotize herself.
She’s not hungry, she isn’t… she really isn’t…
She really…was very hungry!
“Dan Hanjie, give me back my noodles!” Qin Youxuan sat up with a start and glared at him.
“It’s in my stomach, try taking it.” Dan Hanjie held her face, and smirked wickedly.
Seeing his smug face, Qin Youxuan felt like slapping him!
She gritted her teeth, looked at the time. It was past two in the morning already.
Nevermind, it was too late. The butler must have already retired. She decided to bear with it till dawn.
Qin Youxuan crawled back into bed and forced herself to sleep.
Suddenly, an arm snaked around her waist pulling her closer. Qin Youxuan tried to push him away in annoyance, but his grip only tightened.
“Don’t force me into a fight to the death with you.” Dan Hanjie snapped, biting her earlobe.
She couldn’t win against him, she had to admit defeat.
Holding back her anger, Qin Youxuan crawled out of bed as soon as dawn broke.
After changing out of her pajamas, she rushed downstairs, “Butler, make me a bowl of noodles, just like the previous one!”
She was just about to sit down in the living room when she froze.
“Miss Qin, good morning.” Yao greeted her respectfully.
“Morning…” Qin Youxuan responded awkwardly.
Past Yao, she stared at Bai Wei, who was seated in a wheelchair and had just been wheeled in.
Bai Wei was wearing only a blue and white hospital gown, with bandages wrapped around her forehead, a red stain seeping through at the front end.
Upon seeing Qin Youxuan, Bai Wei paused, then looked away.
“What’s going on?” Qin Youxuan was somewhat baffled, looking at Yao for answers.
Didn’t Dan Hanjie say that Bai Wei had a concussion and needed to be hospitalized for observation? How come she was discharged so soon…
