“Accelerate the takeover of Qin Group, before Jin Lan is cleared of all charges, I want the shares of Qin Group to crash!” Dan Hanjie’s eyes flashed sharply, his words as cutting as a blade.
A week had passed since Qin Youxuan left the Qin Family.
Dan Hanjie’s body had recovered to normal. The wounds on his hand had not yet healed, but he had already started dealing with documents at the corporation.
Qin Youxuan tried to stop him several times, but to no avail. Instead, he ended up taking her to the corporation.
She became a 24-hour caregiver.
When he worked, she read books.

The sudden sound made Qin Youxuan jump. When she looked up, she met Dan Hanjie’s enchanting black eyes.
A look of dissatisfaction was sweeping across her face.
He was like a husband who had caught his wife cheating.
“You, finished?” Qin Youxuan was taken aback, her cute little face showing a somewhat bewildered expression, staring blankly at Dan Hanjie who had walked up to her.
She blinked her innocent cat-like eyes.
“I have been standing in front of you for more than three minutes, what do you think?” Dan Hanjie raised an eyebrow, speaking each word clearly.
Every single word was like an icy shard, bone-chilling.
What was she thinking about?
She was so engrossed that she didn’t even notice him standing in front of her for a few minutes. She was not the kind of person who was usually this careless.
Dan Hanjie’s eyes darkened, his deep black eyes fixated on her absent face, the longer he watched, the deeper his gaze became.
“…I’m just wondering what’s wrong with Bai Wei lately. She seems to be avoiding me as if I were a germ.”
Qin Youxuan forcefully changed the topic, not daring to bring up to Dan Hanjie her plans of returning to America at this juncture.
Hearing this, Dan Hanjie went silent.
He glanced at Qin Youxuan’s exquisite little face, curled his lips into a smirk, raising a defiant arch of his brows.
A look of you-can’t-guess-what-I-know on his face.
“Did you do something?” Qin Youxuan noticed the smugness on his face and tentatively asked.
Seeing the ambiguous smile at the corner of Dan Hanjie’s mouth, Qin Youxuan didn’t say anything.
No wonder he was so smug.
Just what did he tell Bai Wei to scare her like that? She had barged in aggressively, ready to slap Qin Youxuan, but in the blink of an eye she became as timid as a rabbit.
Her change in temperament was as fast as a Chinese opera performer changing faces, so quick that it caught one off guard.
“Pack up your stuff. I’ll take you somewhere.”
Qin Youxuan’s words were interrupted, and when she came back to her senses, Dan Hanjie had already pulled the thick Criminal Law book from her hand, gave it a glance, and didn’t say a word.
He put it to the side, pulled her up to her feet.
Seeing that he didn’t ask her anything, Qin Youxuan felt relieved.
However, seeing him pulling her towards the door raised her curiosity, and she twisted her head to look at him with a puzzled look.
Dan Hanjie paused, straightened Qin Youxuan’s body, leaned down, and softly kissed her.
