Chapter 394: She’s Missing
Love birds, quickly separated!
Jiang Jinchen quietly curses in his heart.
Carrying their surfboards, they head into the sea.
The four of them divided into two teams and the competition quickly started.
The fierce competition was in full swing.
In the end, Jiang Jinchen lost miserably.
“After we get back to the country, transfer the money to my account. I’ll have someone check.” Dan Hanjie tossed his head, shaking off the water droplets from his short hair.
His enchanting face, in the dim light, emitted a charming glow.
He reached for the towel handed to him by a servant, wiped his hair, and tossed it into the tray.
Ignoring the wailing Jiang Jinchen, he looked up, scanning the nearshore area for Qin Youxuan’s figure.
He scanned all around but found nothing.
Ning Yanan was also missing.
“Where did they go?” Dan Hanjie furrowed his brow, his voice dropping low.
“Miss Qin and Miss Ning said they wanted to compete and didn’t want too many people following. They went towards the newly discovered sea area.” A bodyguard replied nervously.
“Damn it! That’s a reef area, not suitable for surfing at all!” Dan Hanjie’s heart skipped a beat, “Use the walkie-talkie to contact people over there.”
The bodyguard quickly made contact, and finally reported with a pale face, “Mr. Jie, we only saw Miss Ning. Miss Qin is, is missing…”
Dan Hanjie spun around, his hands grabbing the bodyguard’s collar, his enchanting face showing a demonic aura, “Say it again, who’s missing?”
Suddenly, he released his grip, turning swiftly and charging towards the direction where Qin Youxuan had disappeared.
Jiang Jinchen also didn’t utter a word, following closely behind.
The vast sea area was divided into different regions.
Ning Yanan sat on the rocks near the southern side, with her surfboard beside her, her arms around her knees, gazing into the distance.
Seeing Dan Hanjie rush towards her, she was so startled that she almost fell off the rocks.
Before she could react, she was picked up by Dan Hanjie, “Where is she?”
“Where is Qin Youxuan?”
Ning Yanan’s face turned red as she was strangled by him. Looking into his demonic eyes, she was terrified and couldn’t speak.
“Jie, calm down, she can’t speak if you’re choking her.” Jiang Jinchen, who had caught up, scanned the surroundings but didn’t find Qin Youxuan. His eyes darkened.
Uncharacteristically, he spoke up for Ning Yanan.
Dan Hanjie’s eyes flashed, he lifted Ning Yanan off the rock and threw her onto the sand.
Ning Yanan coughed violently, and before she could recover, she saw Dan Hanjie’s towering figure looming over her.
His voice icy cold, “I ask you, where did she go?”
Ning Yanan looked at the vast expanse of the sea, not knowing where to point.
Even at the risk of her own life, she refused to betray Qin Youxuan.
“I’ll ask you one last time, where did she go?”
Dan Hanjie drew his gun, pointed it at Ning Yanan’s head, and adjusted the trigger.
“Jie, what are you doing?”
Jiang Jinchen was taken aback by the action and quickly stepped forward, but Dan Hanjie pushed him away.
“Get out of the way!”
Ning Yanan stared at the dark maw of the gun, swallowing hard, completely forgetting how to react.
“Are you stupid, woman? You’re risking your life for her. If you keep your mouth shut, I can’t save you either!” Jiang Jinchen rushed forward again, trying to stop Dan Hanjie from shooting while shouting at Ning Yanan.
Ning Yanan looked at the two men tussling with each other and remained stunned for a long time.
In the end, Jiang Jinchen couldn’t persevere against Dan Hanjie’s punches, falling to the ground and watching as Jie strides towards Ning Yanan with the gun.
“Run, you stupid woman!”
