The man walked forward, ripping off the tape from her mouth.

“I am sure there won’t be any good news coming from your mouth.” Qin Youxuan averted her gaze, looking at him with disdain.
She’s been missing for three days, kept in this ghostly place for three days.
The man who called himself Wu Qing would bring her food daily, and she never saw anyone else.
This place was like a haunted house, holding a madman and her, the hostage.

If she was abused, she’d rather choose suicide.
“You do have quite a character, no wonder Mr. Jie, who’s known to shun female company, still keeps you by his side.” Wu Qing steadied himself, casting an indifferent glance at the infuriated Qin Youxuan. It seemed like he had predicted her reaction, and he didn’t even get angry.
The atmosphere felt oddly chilling.
He left the room, only to return with two boxes of food. He placed them on the table.
“It’s dinner time. Since I’m in a good mood today, I’ll eat with you.”
Qin Youxuan stared at him, the image of the photo she’d first seen in Dan Hanjie’s study kept flashing in her mind.
