“Did I mishear? He couldn’t possibly not want our child…”
Qin Youxuan clung to her head, coiling into a ball.
“Miss, when Mr. Jie was younger…” Yao stopped himself, “Anyway, calm down for now. I’ve already contacted Mr. Zexian. He will be here soon; everything will be okay when he arrives.”
Before Yao could say anything else, he saw Dan Hanjie standing at the door, his enchanting black eyes warning him.
Yao clenched his jaw, turning to follow him out.
“Without him saying he won’t abandon me, no one else can do anything…” Qin Youxuan’s eyes were dazed as she stared blankly ahead, tears trickling down her cheeks to the floor.
