Secretary Chen breathed a sigh of relief and quickly exited the room.
Qin Youxuan lifted her head from his chest, not so easily placated, “Just because they don’t stop you, doesn’t mean you aren’t hiding something. I saw the news conference. You… you’re in pain, aren’t you?”
After Qin Youxuan finished speaking, her small hands cradled his face, “Dan Hanjie, stop always thinking about protecting me. I would much rather stand by your side when you need me.”

“You want to protect me? How would you protect me, tell me. If I’m satisfied, I might consider it.”

“What’s that?” Qin Youxuan perked up right away.
She blinked her clear, cat-like eyes, looking at him intently.
Dan Hanjie’s lips touched hers, as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Qin Youxuan’s little hands rested on his chest and she glanced around nervously, there were other people in the office…
Nobody knew when Yao had left the room.
In the large CEO’s office, only the two of them remained.In
knowing this, Qin Youxuan finally relaxed.
But before she could revel in this, Dan Hanjie’s hand had slid under her blouse.
“We’re in the office…”
Qin Youxuan’s face turned red and she grabbed his hand.
Dan Hanjie dropped a kiss on her ear, lightly nipping at it. His voice was low and seductive.

Dan Hanjie pressed his lips to her ear and coaxed a blushing Qin Youxuan in a soft voice.
Drenched in sweat and feeling sticky all over, Qin Youxuan was carried into the resting room by him. She couldn’t comprehend how all her concern for his wellbeing had resulted in her being ‘eaten’ by him without learning anything.
“Dan Hanjie, you only need me at times .”
Afterward, an exhausted Qin Youxuan laid face down on the sofa, glaring at the now-refreshed man sitting across her.
Her little fingers dug into the leather sofa, almost as if she wanted to dig a hole into it.
“Wasn’t it you who said that you hope to be there when I need you?” Dan Hanjie moved closer to her, his fingers tracing her collarbone, stopping for a moment, “Or, should we do it one more time?”
Qin Youxuan immediately shot up as if she was jolted by electricity, moving to the edge of the sofa and clutching at the collar of her dress.
She watched him warily.
It felt like only moments had passed, and here he was, wanting more.
