“Didn’t you see it all?” Dan Hanjie took a step back to create some space between them, he bent his head down, his hands cupping her face.
“Yes, I saw it. So, can we eat now?” Qin Youxuan got a bit closer to him, directly flinging herself into his arms.
She liked being held by him.
Dan Hanjie’s voice deepened, he glanced at the box of food left on the table.
Qin Youxuan quickly explained, “I’ve eaten, but you haven’t, right? I can have a bit more of a late-night snack while keeping you company.”
“Good. Let’s go have a late-night snack.”
Dan Hanjie raised an eyebrow, picked her up and walked towards the door.
“Have the summary report of the meeting sent directly to the villa, you all can leave work now.”
The secretaries exchanged incredulous glances, finding it hard to believe the normally cool and distant Mr. Jie would actually suggest they knock off work.
