A Clear Death
Jiang City First People’s Hospital.
Lin Qingqian was only exhausted. She was given some water and something to eat to replenish her strength. She would be fine after resting for a day or two. The more troublesome one was Jiang Yanshen.
In order to save Lin Qingqian, he had allowed his arm to be smashed by the burning tree trunk and it’d burned a layer of skin off him, revealing charred flesh. The rotten flesh had to be removed before medicine could be applied.
The doctor had given him very little anesthetic, so when they removed the burnt flesh, he could still feel the pain. However, although Jiang Yanshen’s deep and cold face was covered in sweat like a waterfall and his pale thin lips were pursed tightly, he did not make a sound.
