First, the [Dagger of Transfer], which was believed to have summoned the monsters to the stadium, was one of the pieces of evidence.
The origin of this weapon was still under investigation, but it was believed that the dagger had been concealed in the construction materials when they were brought into the stadium, and as they continued to investigate, they found that Alveiro had visited the materials warehouse once when the materials were stored at the port.
This was two days before the crime.
According to Yuki, however, the Dagger of Transfer was probably created by a dungeon because of its powerful ability, which meant that only high-ranking government officials would know of its existence and be able to handle it.
This was the reason why Alveiro’s name was first mentioned.
Also, the bombing at the airfield was thought to have been carried out using explosives that had gone missing from the Rogard Empire’s third weapons warehouse, and Alveiro’s name was also listed in the warehouse’s access records.
Although cleverly concealed, there was no doubt that he had gone to the weapons warehouse within a week of the incident, and there was no other access going back three months.
There was a soldier in charge of the warehouse, and although he was being investigated, he was considered clean at this point, thus deepening the suspicion against Alveiro in relative terms.
All the evidence they had gathered so far suggested that there was something suspicious about Alveiro.
That was why Finar thought.

He couldn’t shake the uncomfortable feeling as if everything was prepared to set them up.
“What else is there?”
“One, from the Deputy Commander of the First Order of the Rogard Empire. He doesn’t seem to have any proof… but he said that [maybe we made a mistake].”
“…heh. That’s quite concerning words, isn’t it?”
Finar pondered silently for a moment, then opened his mouth.
“I guess I’ll have to speak with him first.”
“I’d like to meet with Senator Alveiro as well. And, while you’re at it, contact Yuki.”
“Well, we found a kid who looks guilty, for one thing. The one they captured was a congressman named Alveiro Verbaan. After a lot of investigation, he came up as the closest thing to a guilty person that we could find.”
Finar answered my question.
I was currently in the Rogard Empire.
I’ve heard that there was a breakthrough in the terrorist attack case, so I came here to talk about it.
I’ve spent the last few days recharging my energy, so I have a lot of motivation.
“…You don’t think he’s the target, do you?”
“Whoa, you’re perceptive. Yeah, I feel differently about it. So I thought I’d check him out with you.”
“So, that’s where we’re heading?”
“We’re going to the place where that kid is being held.”
With a clunk, clunk, sound, we descended the rugged stone staircase and eventually arrived at the prison.
There were two soldiers, who looked like guards, and a middle-aged man with shackles on his hands.
He may have been in captivity for a while, and his beard had grown stubble, his clothes were a little worn, and he looked a little tired.
But what should be noted were his eyes, still radiating pressure even in the midst of his fatigue.
Eyes that radiate a certain will and supremacy that I have seen several times.
…I see, he certainly had a presence that would have convinced me that he was guilty.
When the man noticed us coming, he looked surprised for a moment and then bowed deeply.
“…Oh. Your Majesty, Demon Lord, as well as the Demon King, this is the first time we have met. Please forgive me for greeting you in such a shabby appearance.”
Apparently, the other side knew our faces.
“I’m the one who decided to visit you here. I don’t mind your appearance. You must be Alveiro?”
“Yes, my name is Alveiro Verbaan, and you came all the way down here to see me?”
“Yes, I’m here to ask you some questions, and – let me be frank – I’m wondering if you’d be willing to tell me what you know about the terrorist attacks?”
“Oh, Finar, you sure cut right to the point.”
“Why mince words when we both know what we’re going to talk about, right?”
That’s right, I guess.
“Fufu, really, you’re being very direct and single-minded. Well, I’ll be direct, too. –it’s not me.”
Alveiro replied, yes, clearly.
