Recently, the adults have been taking turns taking a nap in case Riou and Sakuya wake up at night.
So, just a few minutes ago, Lefi had also slept a bit at the Japanese Inn.

Since the girls started going to school, they have been telling me about their day and what they have been up to.
Listening to their stories at dinner time was one of my recent pleasures.

I didn’t say anything at that moment because I was embarrassed by my sudden thought.
But it seemed that Lefi could see right through my inner thoughts.
She looked up at me, smiling.
“Don’t worry. I’ll be with you until the day you die.” (Lefi)
I was speechless, and I hugged Lefi tightly.
“…Darn it, how could I be unhappy? My wife, Lefi, will take responsibility for making me happy, right? Me, a Demon Lord, was turned into someone who didn’t fit his character at all.” (Yuki)
“I can’t help it. In return, I’ll have you take the responsibility of turning me, a dragon, into a mere mother.” (Lefi)
“Fine, we have a deal.” (Yuki)
As we were joking with each other, Riou, who should have been asleep, suddenly woke up and started crying, and Sakuya, who heard her voice and woke up as well, started crying as well.
We looked at each other and laughed, then started to soothe them both.
