The Captain led us to check into a luxurious hotel that was just a few minutes’ walk from the depot.
It was very nicely decorated and furnished. It would be classified as a luxury hotel even in a previous life. Seeing it, the members of my family were quite excited.
To be frank, it might be more comfortable than the Imperial Palace in the Rogard Empire.

For example, in an event where a powerful monster appeared, and an army was needed to be dispatched, the number of people needed to decide on what action to take would be much smaller in a monarchy.
Well, I was not an expert in politics, so of course there must be a system to compensate for such a situation, but perhaps that was the reason why this hotel somehow reminded me of a hotel in my previous life.
As a group of self-governing cities, they were originally founded with a strong emphasis on business, and the competition that happened between businesses was probably what led to the improvement of their technology.

We planned to stay here for three days and two nights. So, for today, we decided to spend the day sightseeing in the capital city. I was going to join them later.
