Velmore Forest Ruins (2)
After getting ready for the morning, we met up with Eldogalia-sensei and Emyu and headed straight to the ruins.
As expected, the first place we went to was the several empty rooms that had been discovered.
They were located in what was probably the front of the building, but…
"Since this is right in front, this must be the entrance… but there's no way forward, right?" (Yuki)
"That's right. There should be something here, but we found nothing. For now, this is as far as we have checked these ruins." (Eldogalia)
The empty rooms were all dead ends.
Well, there were a few rooms connected to the side, but it seemed like they couldn't go anywhere beyond that.
It certainly looked suspicious, no matter how you looked at it.
It was unnatural, like you couldn't go anywhere from the main entrance, even though there were supposed to be other rooms.
"Have you found any other rooms?" (Yuki)
"Yeah, from the side. But just like here, there's nothing there. Just empty rooms." (Eldogalia)
We looked around inside.
As expected, there were no statues or anything like that, but when we were looking around each room―
At that moment, Sakuya, who Layla was holding, suddenly cried out.
It was probably the Sakuya radar.
"Is this the Sakuya radar? What do you think, Layla?" (Eldogalia)
"Is it on this wall? At first glance, it's just a wall, but there is definitely… something there." (Layla)
"Really? There's no reaction from the equipment we set up…" (Eldogalia)
"Master, this is Layla's opinion. If so, then that's definitely more correct than the equipment!" (Emyu)

And so they made full use of the equipment they had placed there to carry out their analysis – and then, they heard a beeping sound.
It seemed to be the change they were looking for, as the other members of the Sheep Horn Clan who were there exclaimed, "Wow…" "This reaction… Hmm, it was too faint, so I missed it, but there is definitely a magic fluctuation here. What a concealment technique…"
"Haha, do you understand, Master? Sakuya's ability…" (Emyu)

"Okay, then…Layla, can I ask you to take care of Sakuya? I want to fly around and check the surrounding terrain." (Yuki)
"Okay, then let's split up for now. Sakuya, stay with your mother, ok?" (Layla)
After parting ways with Layla and Sakuya, I carried Enne on my back and flew into the sky.
When I was on the airship, I looked outside from the window, but the range I could see was limited.
From what I heard from Eldogalia-sensei, this area seemed to be a hidden area with an ecology similar to the Demon Forest, and the monsters that lived here were strong.
Even when flying , I could feel the presence of powerful monsters in the area.
