A Love I Shouldn't Feel Chapter 190

Morning light crept through the sheer curtains of the Harusawa living room, casting long shadows across the cold floor.

But inside, the air was anything but calm.

Satoshi paced, his jaw clenched, the sharp sound of his footsteps echoing against the walls.

At the nearby couch, Satomi sat stiffly, arms crossed, a scowl deepening on her perfectly made-up face.

The silence broke again.

"Where did he take her?" Satoshi growled under his breath.

"Fujiwara was furious. Furious."

Satomi’s eyes flashed with rage.

"Just one more step, papa. One more—he would’ve gotten her alone."

Her voice trembled with pure frustration.

"That was it. That was the moment. We’d have secured the contract."

She looked up, seething.

"Now it’s ruined. All of it. Because of him."

Satoshi’s hand came down hard on the dining table.

He gritted his teeth.

"And your husband! Haruki—dragged her away."

"When they get home, I’m going to ask.I want answers."

Satoshi didn’t respond.

He just stared out the window. Cold, silent, calculating.

He knew Fujiwara wasn’t just angry.

All because she slipped away.

The familiar buzz of a scooter echoed through the morning air as it pulled up to the Harusawa gate.

From inside the house, Satomi’s fingers curled tightly around the edge of the couch cushion.

She took a slow breath, trying desperately to maintain her composure.

Satoshi stood nearby, arms folded, his face unreadable. But his eyes were fixed on the door.

Moments later, the door followed.

Haruki entered first, calm as ever. His expression relaxed, his posture casual.

Behind him, Kyouko stepped in, still composed, her hair loosely tied, skin fresh and glowing in the soft morning light. There was no guilt in her steps. No hesitation in her smile.

It was Satomi who broke first.

"Haruki!" she snapped, rising from the couch.

"Where did you bring Mom!? I’ve been calling you all night!"

Haruki didn’t flinch.

His voice remained smooth, polite.

"Kyouko-san said she wasn’t feeling well. So I brought her to the hospital. The doctor thinks it might’ve been mild food poisoning?"

Both Satomi and Satoshi stiffened.

Their faces didn’t change, but for one fleeting second, their eyes flashed with panic.

What if they ran tests? What if the drug.

But they quickly smoothed over the cracks.

"Ah... I see," Satoshi said, forcing a chuckle.

"I didn’t realize Kyouko felt unwell."

Kyouko stepped forward, her voice soft and sweet.

"Yes, dear. I didn’t want to worry anyone, so I asked Haruki to take me quietly. Perhaps the oysters? Or the drink? Haruki insisted on staying. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer any calls during that time."

Her eyes flicked toward Satomi—briefly.

Satomi tried to smile.

"Well... I’m glad you’re okay, Mom."

Satoshi cleared his throat.

"Ah, right—we should get going. There’s a meeting this morning."

Kyouko tilted her head.

"No time for breakfast, dear? Satomi?"

Satomi shook her head. "We’ll grab something on the way. You should rest, Mom."

Kyouko’s smile never wavered. "Thank you for worrying about me."

They left in a hurry.

And once the door closed behind them.

Kyouko turned to Haruki with a faint smile that said everything.

They hadn’t just returned home.

Just as the Harusawa car turned the corner and the gate closed quietly behind it, silence fell across the house again.

But it wasn’t the cold silence of tension.

Kyouko reached into her purse, pulled out her smartphone, and tapped the screen.

A quiet video began to play—muted at first, then rising in soft, rhythmic sounds.

Then turned the screen toward Haruki.

Her voice was honey-sweet and teasing. "This was the hospital. See this doctor?"

She pointed toward the screen—where Haruki’s body moved above hers, his face flushed, focused, loving, as he pushed into her again and again.

Her tone dropped into a soft, playful whisper.

"He kept injecting me with needles... a big one. Over and over."

She leaned in closer, her eyes glinting.

"And putting all that... medicine inside me."

Haruki gave a breath of laughter, low in his throat.

"This doctor sounds dangerous, Kyouko-san."

Kyouko giggled and pressed into him, letting his hands slide naturally to her waist... then her hips... then down over the soft curve of her bare butt beneath her robe.

"He was very professional, though."

Her voice dropped. "I wonder where you found him?"

Haruki smirked, pulling her close.

"I think he came from somewhere around here..."

He let his hand squeeze gently, his fingers roaming slowly as Kyouko leaned up and brushed her lips to his.

Their kiss deepened, unhurried, just warmth and quiet joy.

Whatever the world tried to take from them the night before—it failed.

This moment was theirs.

"Let’s take a shower together... Doctor."

Kyouko’s voice was low, teasing, as she looked up at him from beneath her lashes.

Haruki chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek.

"Yes, Miss patient. I love that idea."

She took his hand, but before leading him away, she added softly, "After that, I’ll cook your favorite food. Then... we’ll sleep together in the guest room."

Haruki raised a brow, smirking.

"Are you sure? You know they could come home anytime."

Kyouko didn’t flinch.

Instead, she reached into her robe pocket and held up both remotes—the gate controller and the main house key, plus a spare.

The ones Satomi and Satoshi had left behind in their panicked rush.

Her smile was serene, sweet, almost innocent.

"I’m sure. Besides..."

She leaned close, her breath brushing his cheek.

"I’ll hear the gate long before they do. And if not..."

She gave a small wink. "That just makes it more exciting, doesn’t it?"

Haruki laughed softly, genuinely.

"Then lead the way, Miss Patient. I’ll follow your orders."

They climbed the stairs together, the house still quiet, bathed in soft morning light.

Kyouko’s fingers stayed laced with Haruki’s, their steps unhurried—gentle, like everything between them now.

As they reached the landing, Kyouko leaned in close, her voice low, almost teasing.

"We’ll share my towel, okay?" she whispered, a soft smile tugging at her lips.

"Besides... we don’t need to cover each other anymore. Right~?"

"But... why don’t we just sleep in your room? Or mine?"

Kyouko slowed at the top of the stairs.

She turned to him, eyes soft, calm, but firm.

"Because I don’t want to sleep in a bed where our so-called partners sleep."

"I don’t want their scent on our skin. Their energy in our space."

She brushed her fingers along his arm.

"I only want us. No one else."

Haruki looked at her in silence for a moment.

"Guest room it is, then." he said softly.

Kyouko smiled again and leaned up to kiss him lightly.

"But first... we shower. And you wash me properly, Doctor."

"Yes, Miss Patient. I’ll make sure you’re... thoroughly clean."

They stepped into the bathroom—leaving behind the names they once lived by, and walking straight into a world made just for the two of them.
