The Crown Princess, Mrs. Lu, began to laugh, taking it with utmost seriousness.

The urgency in his demeanor suggested he feared Dai Hanmi might secretly keep it for herself.
Yet he looked helpless against Dai Hanmi.
Watching them, Yun Jinnian found it quite amusing.
Seeing this, Dai Hanmi huffed indignantly, stood up, and sat next to the Old Marchioness, pulling on her arm, "Grandmother, look at third brother, he’s neither early nor late – shows up just when Sister Jinnian is distributing things.
