Vernon squinted his eyes.

"You're right!" Vernon turned his head quickly and spoke into thin air, "You've worked at N.E.W.T. Corp, a big company... but look, I'm not that bad either. I'm an excellent sales manager, seen all kinds of people... If someone is plotting against my property or house—"
"Are you insane?" Harry exclaimed. "Me? Plotting against your house?"

His gaze fell on Aunt Petunia, her expression stiffened. "It's simple; as a powerful wizard, he set up intricate protective magic around, tied to familial blood. Its purpose is not only to protect the underage Harry but also to keep you safe."
"The magical effect will last until Harry comes of age. During this time, Harry must stay here for a while each year, not much, just a few weeks."

"Company? Whose?" Vernon asked sensitively.
"Mine." Felix said cheerfully.
"Aren't you that professor from that school?" Vernon quickly inquired, seeming pleased to find a flaw in his words.
"Oh, you have to allow me to have a side job."
Vernon grumbled a bit, looking suspiciously at Harry.
"This kid can build houses too?"
"Harry's talent isn't in that area. I just gave an example; wizards can do many things. For example, on rockets—well, let's get back to the point. Harry has inherent magical abilities; maybe that has caused you some trouble. But he will be an excellent warrior, just like his parents. In some aspects, he has even surpassed them. Basically, the substantial plot about the Dursley family ends here; it might be mentioned sporadically later or appear in side stories. As Felix said, changing someone with a few words is not realistic; he's just an outsider and shouldn't make decisions for Harry.
In the original work, even scenes bordering on life and death couldn't break through the defenses of the Dursleys, so I couldn't think of more shocking scenes. Therefore, changes can only happen in Dudley.
