A Saiyan's Journey Chapter 350

Given that Gabriel had sacrificed her first kiss, Shin naturally agreed to hand over the source of the magical reaction to her.

However, he couldn't do it right now. After all, Shin planned to gather some evil spirits and compress them into a mass of magical energy to serve as a scapegoat.

This idea had come to him on the spot, so he needed some time to capture a few evil spirits.

Thus, Shin told Gabriel that he would give her the item tomorrow.

Although Gabriel was a bit suspicious and didn't understand why Shin insisted on waiting until tomorrow, she decided to trust his explanation for now.

If Shin failed to produce anything tomorrow, Gabriel would make sure he understood just how terrifying an angel who had lost her first kiss for nothing could be.

Although the reason Gabriel dared to do such a thing in the first place was because Shin had already accumulated enough goodwill with her, that didn't mean Shin could take advantage of her without delivering.

After finishing her maid duties, Gabriel didn't even say goodbye to Shin. She collected her wages from Tohru and left in a hurry.

It was clear that even someone as lazy and gaming-obsessed as Gabriel would feel embarrassed in such a situation.

"Are you going out tonight, Shin kun?"

After dinner, Shin put on his shoes and stepped out of the house. Behind him, Tohru looked at him curiously.

Although Sayu Ogiwara had mentioned that Shin often went out at night before, it seemed that after moving into the new house, he hadn't been going out much in the evenings.

That was because when Sayu Ogiwara first moved in, Shin had to go out every night to deal with matters related to the Kiryu Group. But now, that was no longer necessary.

With the assistance of the Shinomiya family and Shin's "Black Bird: Black Sabbath" creating Stand users, the Kiryu Group no longer needed Shin to personally help them develop.

"Yeah, I have something to take care of. I should be back soon."

Shin nodded. He planned to go out tonight to capture some evil spirits and create the mass of magical energy he would hand over to Gabriel tomorrow.

"Do you need my help?"

Although Tohru didn't know what Shin was going to do, she, who always prioritized Shin, asked seriously.

As she spoke, she flexed her arm, striking a pose that said, "I'm strong."

"I can be of great help, you know. I can even carry you while flying."

Indeed, a dragon's flying speed was fast—but Shin wasn't in a hurry to travel. He needed to collect evil spirits from the surrounding area, which required quick, short-distance movements. Flying on a dragon wasn't suitable for that.

Moreover, Tohru clearly couldn't see evil spirits or Stands. Although she was very powerful, her abilities weren't quite suited for dealing with evil spirits.

"No need, I can handle it myself."

Declining Tohru's offer to accompany him, Shin set off.

Since he had been clearing out the evil spirits along the route from his home to the school every day, there weren't many evil spirits left nearby to use for creating the mass of magical energy.

Shin had to venture further out—fortunately, with his "Presence Concealment" ability, he didn't have to worry about being noticed by passersby and could move freely.

A dark evil spirit floated in front of Shin—it looked like a massive, bloated figure, with its facial features replaced by black holes, making it appear extremely terrifying.

However, Shin had long grown accustomed to the grotesque appearances of these things, as he had been dealing with them every day on his way to school recently.

For those who couldn't destroy them, these ugly creatures were indeed horrifying.

But for someone who could eliminate them, they were just a bit disgusting.

Without hesitation, Shin slapped the massive evil spirit, instantly shattering it into pieces that dispersed into a cloud of black mist.

Behind Shin, "Black Bird Requiem" materialized, and the power of "Justice" manifested as a giant black mist hand.

The hand then forcefully compressed the black mist that hadn't yet dispersed into a small ball!

It felt like a scene from an over-the-top fighting game where diamonds are crushed—the once expansive black mist was forcibly compressed into a tiny orb.

"Black Bird Requiem" opened its hand, revealing the contents within.

It was a small, black, bead-like object that looked like an ordinary, cheap glass marble.

But upon closer inspection, one could sense the terrifying amount of magical energy contained within.

Although these evil spirits were mostly useless, their bodies contained trace amounts of magical energy. By crushing and compressing a large number of evil spirits, Shin had created this mass of magical energy.

While it was still insignificant compared to Shin's own magical energy, it was a considerable amount nonetheless, and it should be enough for Gabriel to report back to Heaven.

As for why Shin didn't want to provide some of his own magical energy... it was mainly because he couldn't explain its origin.

This mass of magical energy, compressed from evil spirits, would clearly be recognized by Gabriel as related to evil spirits. If Heaven investigated, they would focus on the evil spirits, not Shin.

But if Shin handed over his own magical energy, Heaven might start investigating him—and he found that troublesome.

After all, Gabriel was still an angel from Heaven, and Shin didn't want to directly antagonize the forces behind her. It was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.

"Ah! Who are you!? What did you just do!?"

Just as Shin was about to store the mass of magical energy to hand over to Gabriel tomorrow, a startled voice called out from behind him.

It was a somewhat high-pitched female voice.

Shin was surprised. Normally, with his "Presence Concealment" active, ordinary people shouldn't be able to detect him.

He turned around, puzzled, and saw a red-haired girl standing behind him. She was pointing at him with one hand, while the other held a bag of what looked like melon bread she had just bought from a convenience store.

Upon seeing the girl, Shin immediately understood why she could see him.

"Ah, so it's Satania."

Shin looked at the red-haired girl and sighed.

Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa —her name was a bit too long, so she was usually called Satania. She was a fool.

A demon from Hell, with a somewhat chuunibyou personality, she often called herself the Great Demon. She was a fool.

She wanted to commit evil deeds, but her efforts always ended up being laughable. She was a fool.

She was one of Gabriel and Viginette's friends and attended the same school as them. She was a fool.

"I feel like you're thinking something really rude right now!"

Although she was a fool, Satania's intuition was sharp, and she immediately sensed that Shin was thinking something disrespectful.

"Wait! How do you know who I am!? Who are you!?"
