Cappuccino widened her eyes, standing face to face with Green, as if she could truly see him.
Under the Robe of Appearances, Green held a beastskin scroll. Behind the Face of Truth, he looked at Cappuccino. Her smooth, fair skin, her developing slender figure, and her black hair tied in a ponytail framed her large, curious eyes that seemed to be "looking" at him, as if she could truly perceive him.
Could it be that she "saw" him through the world will talent that wizard apprentices cannot yet control?
At least from her behavior, it seemed she could vaguely sense his presence.
Green already knew that not only is the Robe of Appearances’ concealment function a secret, but the greatest enemy of any secretive wizard is the World Guardian. Through the World’s Power, the World Guardian can clearly perceive the components within the world. Green’s wizard knowledge did not yet include any means to obscure world perception.
Cappuccino almost opened her mouth because from her vague talent sensing, something she couldn’t see was "quivering" in front of her, as if very afraid of her, but with no hostility.
The girl looked back at her grandfather several times, hesitating for a while before giving up on telling him.
Was it a small creature summoned by her grandfather from the Different World?
If her grandfather found out, given his nature, he would definitely capture, study, dissect it, and then make it into a specimen. It would die, and the cause of its death would be because she "betrayed" it.
Finally, Cappuccino walked around that section, pretending to pick up a book by the bookshelf next to Green, and whispered, "Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. Green was stunned. What on earth was this little girl thinking?

After a long silence, Green finally chose to remain silent, without uttering a word, quietly watching the little girl as she talked to herself, full of joy.
"Hee hee, you surely can’t understand Wizard Language, but I can feel that you bear no malice towards me. You must be a kind little creature, just accidentally lost in the Wizard World. Don’t worry, I’ll think of a way, in a few days I’ll..."
"Cappuccino, who are you talking to?"
The old wizard at the experiment table turned around, looking puzzled towards the bookshelf area in the distance.
Because it was an underground laboratory, space was limited with no partitions. Cappuccino’s constant murmuring caught the old wizard’s attention.
"Ah! Ah... no one, I’m just reading here, grandfather, you continue, my current goal is to raise my spiritual power to thirty-five, and increase the Thunder Element leverage multiplier to eight times!"
Saying this, the little girl held two elemental books and ran off crazily.
The old wizard nodded in satisfaction at the sight, then looked down again to resume his experiment.

Two days later.
The old wizard was not in the underground laboratory when the Magic Array door creaked open. Green, studying an ancient wizard script on a remnant stone slab, lifted his head to see Cappuccino tiptoe in.
"Hee hee, don’t be afraid, it’s me. You must be hungry; I’ve brought you some food!"
Cappuccino placed a large bag of items on the ground, first taking out a big, bloody cow leg and placing it on a tray, pushing it towards Green, squatting down with big, expectant eyes.
After a while without any movement, the girl shook her head.
"Don’t like raw meat? Not a carnivore, or just don’t eat raw food?"
Cappuccino then took out a wooden lunchbox from behind her. When she opened it, a fragrant aroma of food wafted out, though it appeared slightly burnt.
The girl playfully stuck out her tongue, embarrassed, "I made this myself, don’t know if it suits your taste."
Still without any movement after a while, Cappuccino took out a third food item from behind her, this time a large bowl of vegetables, tossed together without any sorting, evidently freshly stolen from the kitchen.
"Don’t like this either?"
Cappuccino pouted, looking very upset. She looked at her now empty bag which only contained a banana, an orange, a small handful of dried fruits, and six candies. She placed them all in front of Green.
"That’s all there is, if there’s nothing you like, I’ll have to think of something else."
Seeming greatly wronged, the little girl half-squatted on the ground, her eyes red, as if saddened by her morning’s careful preparation and selfless efforts being in vain.
"Gaa..."
Just then, suddenly, a strange cry came from the laboratory, and Cappuccino immediately stood up, ecstatic to see that all the dried fruits and candies on the ground were gone!
It turned out Green was speechlessly observing Cappuccino’s antics, unable to understand what was going on in this little girl’s mind, finding it childish yet quite amusing, and simply used the Spacetime Communication Talent to summon Xiao Ba over.
Covering Xiao Ba’s mouth, signalling it not to speak, Green silently collected a few dried fruits and candies with a wave of his hand.
"Master, what are you doing? I was playing with Little Wan." Xiao Ba grumbled in soul communication after biting through a dried fruit.
Green pointed to Cappuccino outside the Robe of Appearances, soul messaging, "Go play with her for a few years, this child has potential, see if she can be my first disciple."
Gah!?
Xiao Ba, surprised, was thrown out of the Robe of Appearances’ range by Green, appearing in Cappuccino’s sight, making her eyes widen incredulously as she looked at Xiao Ba.
"Wow, grandpa actually summoned such a beautiful parrot! Good thing I didn’t tell grandpa before."
Under Green’s urging, Xiao Ba reluctantly landed on Cappuccino’s shoulder, and was happily taken out of the laboratory by her to play.
The innocent little girl apparently didn’t use her world will talent again to perceive the anomaly ahead.
Green returned the stone slab inscribed with ancient wizard script back to its place, murmuring lowly, "With Xiao Ba observing, that’s enough. I’d better come here less in the future."
Thinking this, Green quietly took away a few Witchcraft Books he hadn’t read yet before leaving the underground laboratory. (To be continued.
