Shen Chengjing poured the tea into Shen Ziqian’s mouth. The faces of the whole family turned pale.
“Clang.” Pan Ru stepped forward and pushed the teacup over. The boiling hot tea splashed on Shen Ziqian’s body, causing her to fall to the side in pain.
Shen Zhicai clenched his fists tightly and looked up at Shen Chengjing.
She looked at him innocently with a puzzled expression. “Uncle, what’s the problem with you guys? I just thought that this tea was not bad, so I wanted to give it to my sister to drink.”
Her voice was soft and gentle as it brushed past their hearts. However, they were unable to calm down for a long time.
“What are you doing, Shen Chengjing?” Pan Ru pointed at her and shouted. Shen Ziqian was in so much pain that she could not speak.
Even though there was a layer of clothing between the tea and her clothes, it was still very painful! Her arm was already red and swollen.
“I really didn’t do it on purpose,” Shen Chengjing tried to explain. She suddenly patted her forehead and bowed to Shen Zhicai. “I’m really sorry, Uncle. I still have something important to deal with. Last time, someone asked me to come for an audition and almost got me killed. Now, I’ve found out who ordered him to do it. Pan Ru received Shen Zhicai’s gaze and quickly suppressed the anger in her heart. She looked at Shen Chengjing awkwardly. “Chengjing, I’ll call the doctor to come over. Help her upstairs first.”
“Sure.” Hearing this, Shen Chengjing readily agreed.
Shen Ziqian stomped her feet. Her arm hurt so bad that her entire body was trembling. How could she still have the strength to fight? She was supported by Shen Chengjing as she walked upstairs.
In the hall, Shen Zhicai’s face was frighteningly livid and Pan Ru was no better.
“Come here,” Shen Zhicai said sternly.

Shen Zhicai turned his head and whispered into her ear. Pan Ru’s expression changed slightly, but the smile on the corner of her mouth was very deep.

On the second floor, Shen Chengjing helped Shen Ziqian back to her room. She sized up this well-decorated room with her hands behind her back.

Shen Ziqian tried to get up, but Shen Chengjing reached out to press her shoulder and push her back to the bed.
“Shen Chengjing, let go!”
“What? Does it hurt? Do you remember when we were young, I fell down the stairs and was injured for a week and you said that I fell down because I stole your change and was trying to run away?” She lowered her head and whispered into Shen Ziqian’s ear.
“Shen Ziqian, I’ve walked too much at night. I always see ghosts,” she continued.
Shen Ziqian struggled, but Shen Chengjing held her down firmly. She had been in a car accident and her body was full of injuries. She was lucky to be discharged from the hospital, but the tea had scalded her wounds. She couldn’t fight back at all.
