This time Dengdeng wasn’t there, and Jiang Yichun held nothing back. He wrapped one arm tightly around Bai Ruozhu’s slender waist, with his other hand slamming the door shut. Then his kisses rained down on her like a torrential storm.
Pinned against the door by Jiang Yichun, Ruozhu’s legs gave out a little. Her body heated up against her will.
In their previous encounter, they almost crossed that line. This time, when they started up again, their shyness and hesitation had diminished, replaced by burning passion born out of days of longing.
"Ah..." Ruozhu moaned softly when he bit her tongue. ’Is he a dog or something?’ she wondered.
"You heartless woman, consider this my revenge." Jiang Yichun didn’t stop his passionate kisses, but mumbled the words.
Ruozhu’s body was growing weaker and she was out of strength to resist. Trying to dispute his words, she found him using the opportunity to explore even deeper with his tongue, entangling her small tongue and leaving her speechless.
She couldn’t even make a sound, realizing that he was a little angry. However, her lips and tongue were hurting. Ruozhu could only wrap her arms around his neck, hoping her ardor would extinguish his rage.
However, when one fire was put out, another one flared up. His anger was quickly extinguished, but the heat within his body surged unbelievably high.
Jiang Yichun gentled his kisses, his technique getting better at arousing her.
"No..." Ruozhu finally got the chance to catch her breath and managed to utter a word. But the soft, alluring tone in which she spoke startled even herself. It was as if the voice didn’t belong to her.
She never imagined that she could sound so provocative. Embarrassed, she blushed intensely. Was she acting coquettish without even noticing?
Jiang Yichun chuckled lightly and trailed kisses down her smooth neck, lingering on her delicate collarbones. After a small lick, Ruozhu shivered. Jiang Yichun chuckled again, realizing how sensitive she was in that spot.
The next moment, he gently bit her cute collarbone. Ruozhu let out a startled cry and her body went completely limp. Without Jiang Yichun’s strong arms holding her up, she would have collapsed to the floor.
"You rascal! Quit messing around in broad daylight!" Ruozhu tried to keep her voice steady through gritted teeth, but it lacked her usual commanding tone. Instead, it sounded sweet and gentle.
"So no fun during the day? Should I come find you at night? Didn’t you tell me you’d make a baby with me? Are you trying to renege on your promise?" Jiang Yichun answered in a teasing tone.
Anxious, Ruozhu felt her mind go blank and her body tremble uncontrollably. It took a while for her to regain her composure.
She pushed him forcefully and spoke up, bothered, "Didn’t I tell you last time... How could you..."
Jiang Yichun’s eyes dimmed instantly, the enchanted look on his face replaced by one of bitterness and helplessness.
"Are you trying to kill me?" He sighed heavily with a tone of despair.
Ruozhu’s blush gradually faded, and she said with a hint of regret, "Give me some more time. Besides, this isn’t the right place." She blushed again thinking about the guards present in the yard who most definitely knew what they were doing.
In these royal households of ancient times, whatever happened inside a room, the maids could always hear. Even after the act was finished, the maid would enter to serve. They didn’t find it strange, but Ruozhu was a modern person who cherished privacy. Especially considering that she still hadn’t given up her virginity, she felt strongly uncomfortable with being watched or listened to.
Besides, there was still that unresolved matter...
Jiang Yichun took deep breaths to calm himself and slumped into a chair by the table, deflated. Ruozhu moved to join him, and her eyes inadvertently swept over a certain part of his body. He wasn’t wearing his robe but a short tunic, which meant the changes in his lower body were quite noticeable.
Ruozhu, blushing, couldn’t help but begin to giggle. Then she sat down on a stool beside him and said, "Stop thinking about it all the time. How else can I tell if you’re really sincere towards me?"
Jiang Yichun held his breath, a look of suffering on his face. "I really browbeat myself with you! All this was your doing. You started it by hugging me the minute you arrived. If that wasn’t an invitation, what was?"
Ruozhu was taken aback. She simply wanted to soothe his anger. How could it turn out ? Apparently, his complaint about her not visiting for a few days was just an excuse to give her a little punishment. He didn’t expect that she would provoke him to the point of nearly losing control.
"I just wanted to calm you down." Ruozhu tugged at his sleeve, her voice shy.
Jiang Yichun pettily turned his head away.
Ruozhu decided to wrap her arms around his, and murmured, "So worst comes to worst, I won’t casually hug you anymore, and I promise not to provoke you either!"
"No way!" Jiang Yichun felt so irritated he thought he’d explode. Was this woman doing this on purpose?
Seeing the anger flare up in his eyes again, and remembering the frightening force with which he had kissed and bitten her earlier, she didn’t dare to keep teasing him. She sat up straight and said, "Then I’ll come to see you tomorrow, bringing Dengdeng with me, is that okay?"
Jiang Yichun cast her a cold sideways look but seemed to have cooled down a little.
Ruozhu hurriedly seized the moment to make another peace offering, "When you can leave your room, I’ll accompany you to the Lantern Festival, how about that?"
"Hmm." Jiang Yichun responded nonchalantly, seeming somewhat satisfied.
"Oh yes, I also made a New Year’s gift for you with my own hands. I’ll bring it to you tomorrow." Bai Ruozhu suddenly remembered the sable vest she had discarded in the Space.
Jiang Yichun perked up at once, "What is it?"
Ruozhu started giggling, "Guess!"
Jiang Yichun lunged at her to tickle her, "Will you tell me? Will you tell me?"
Ruozhu, however, wasn’t ticklish, yet she couldn’t help laughing. So the laughter of the two echoed in the house, reaching the guards in the yard. The guards exchanged a look, their eyes flickering with gossiping curiosity.
Only after a while did the two of them calm down. The previous tension was completely dissolved, although at the end, Jiang Yichun had deliberately turned his face, prompting Ruozhu to kiss him forcefully. She planted a loud kiss on his cheek and said with a laugh, "I learned this from Dengdeng."
Jiang Yichun flicked her forehead, his face twisted in deliberate disgust, "Your saliva is all over my face. Gross!"
Ruozhu glared at him, "Don’t like it? Then forget it from now on!"
I saw a comment this morning pointing out Mouka’s typos. I want to apologize to everyone. Assurance to improve is taken to heart, and I will inspect my work more thoroughly in the future. I’ve been posting a lot recently and only giving my writing a brief look-over, missing many errors. I sincerely apologize to you all and will take this as a lesson.
