Absolute Cheater Chapter 308

Threads of possibility shimmered into view around her. Dozens of invisible futures spun out, intertwining and collapsing into one definitive moment. Her nine gems pulsed in unison, and her body became a blur of radiant motion.

She vanished again—this time moving through the future itself.

As the beast released its breath—an apocalyptic scream of decay—Valeris was already inside it.

A streak of jade-white light tore through its skull.

The beast's attack collapsed inward, silenced mid-roar. Its body convulsed once… then again… and then exploded into globs of flesh and corrupted essence, which rained down onto the floor, where the Womb quickly absorbed it all.

Valeris stood at the far end of the chamber, her wings slowly folding back, her Laws settling into a soft glow. Her clothes reformed over her dragonscale form, returning her to her calmer human shape, though her horns and gems remained—testaments to the power she had revealed.

Asher walked toward her slowly, clapping once.

"Well then," he said with a faint smile. "Remind me never to get on your bad side."

Valeris smirked. "You already have, more than once. Lucky for you, I'm patient."

The center of the dome began to shift. A spiral staircase of pale bone and red stone emerged from the floor—the path to the next Womb.

At the same time, a chest rose from the spot where the beast had fallen.

Asher and Valeris walked toward it. When they opened the chest, they found five shimmering crystals inside, each one pulsing within a translucent orb.

"Law Crystals," Asher said as he picked them up one by one. "Two of Blood… and three of Corruption."

Valeris looked at him curiously. "So how do we use them?"

"There are two ways," Asher replied. "We can absorb them directly to reinforce the core of our own Laws. But since these Laws are different from our laws, the effectiveness drops sharply. At best, we'd get fifty percent effectiveness if it's use to improve lesser laws. If it's for a Grand Law, it drops to ten percent. And for my Supreme Law," he added with a shrug, "just one percent."

Valeris frowned. "That sounds wasteful."

"It is," Asher agreed. "Which is why we'll just refine them slowly and strip the essence of the Law over time and learn these laws. That way, we get most of the benefit without distortion."

He handed her the two Blood Law Crystals and kept the three Corruption ones for himself. Each crystal, even with a one percent gain, thus he will get 3% comprehension of Corruption law now.

It is Lesser Law but still within the Tomb he will be able to raise it to high comprehension, thus atleast he will be able to make it strongers as Grand Law.

Valeris raised an eyebrow. "Only two for me?"

Asher smirked slightly, teasing, "Because you already have seven Laws. I only have two."

She stared at him, unimpressed. "Your one Supreme Law is equal to ten of my lesser Laws."

"Still," Asher said with a shrug, "you've got more total. If we count your unique Grand Laws—like Order and Fate—and since you have Fate, you're definitely stacked."

Valeris snorted softly but said nothing, instead holding the Blood Crystals in her palm. Asher examined his Corruption Crystals, channeling a sliver of his soul into one to test its resonance.

He didn't use them immediately.

Instead, he called forth one of his soul-bound Reapers.

A swirling vortex of shadows and blood bloomed behind him. From it stepped a towering figure clad in obsidian and bone—its form regal and terrifying. A hollow crown floated above its head, and its very presence sent a ripple through the Womb chamber.

The Undying Celestial.

One of Asher's last remaining Reapers—formed through his rare ability, Soul Reaper Monarch—a powerful evolution of necromancy that allowed him to craft undead not just from the body, but also from its blood and soul.

From a single corpse, Asher could create three undead of similar level—one from each essence.

But of course, he hadn't stopped there.

Using his System Cheat: Infinite Fusion, he had refined and merged many Reapers into even stronger abominations over time. Now, only two of his original legion remained:

The Dread Dragon King.

Each of them was over 90% as strong as Asher himself.

Stronger, even, than Valeris.

And yet, they obeyed him completely.

Valeris looked at the Undying Celestial with a raised brow. "You rarely summon them."

"I don't," Asher said quietly. "I don't like relying on anything other than my own strength."

With that, he sat cross-legged on the ground.

"Alright then—let's learn these new Laws."

He glanced at the Undying Celestial. "Guard us while we comprehend."

The Celestial gave a silent nod, then unsheathed his massive greatsword. He stood sentinel before them, radiating quiet menace as his hollow crown flickered in the dim red light of the Womb.

"Now we can absorb these crystals in peace," Asher said, settling deeper into his seated posture.

Valeris nodded and mirrored him, sitting cross-legged across from him. Without a word, she placed both Blood Law crystals before her and began to absorb them.

Crimson light flowed into her palms like liquid flame, threading into her meridians and soulsea.

Since she held two crystals, she would gain 2% comprehension of the Blood Law—lesser in depth, but still valuable as a foundation. Enough to build upon with her own insight and combat experience.

Asher, meanwhile, held the three Corruption Law crystals in his lap.

Instead, he closed his eyes, allowed his breathing to slow, and focused entirely on the first crystal.

A quiet hum filled the Womb chamber—resonance born of pure Law. The faint scent of rusted iron and burning incense drifted through the air, as if the Womb itself recognized the truths being drawn forth.

The Undying Celestial stood unmoving, greatsword anchored in the stone floor, eyes aglow like twin dying stars—watchful, tireless.

Asher's body trembled once as the Corruption Law began to take root. A dark green aura flickered over his skin before vanishing into his Inner High Class World which is now his Core after he advanced to World Rank now.
