Xiao Jie was somewhat surprised. He looked at the huge slash mark and the position where the Firewood Axe was embedded. It almost seemed like someone used this axe to kill the Willow Tree Demon in one hit.
The Willow Tree Demon was a good dozen meters tall; such an enormous monster should at least be Level 30 to 50, right?
The White Ape is even more ferocious than I imagined.
But why would it be the Firewood Axe? Could this axe have some sort of connection to the Woodcutter outside the valley?
Xiao Jie moved his mouse over the axe and discovered that there was an icon to draw the sword.

Leading the way, the Old Monkey took one man and one monkey to a massive wooden hut which was simple and crude but of considerable size, built from various round logs, broken planks, and branches, obviously constructed by these monkeys.
"Those young and strong monkeys can sleep on the trees, but us old ones cannot. Fortunately, there are no ferocious beasts like the Zhailang in this valley, so we live in this wooden cave. The White King calls this thing a ’house’."
Tsk tsk, this White Ape is also an inventor.
When the man and the monkey walked into the wooden hut, the other Old Monkeys inside immediately began to exclaim in alarm.

The old monkeys started to gabble, but the Great Barbarian Ape sneered coldly again without saying anything more.
Xiao Jie became interested; this Old Monkey King seemed to know something.
"Why do you say that Senior Yuan is a demon?"
"Hmph, I don’t converse with humans."
He knows humans? This Great Barbarian Ape seems to have some knowledge indeed, and it may very well be the key to unraveling the mystery of White Ape’s identity.
