"Who... who are you?"
The feminine voice echoed through the pilot room, where a total of two people were casually sitting before the train’s control center, while two others were sitting on the ground, blood around their figures.
The question came from the elf lady whose jaw Ryuk had blown off, but turning to look at her, he saw that her jaw had already begun healing.
In fact, the bones had recovered, leaving just the skin to grow back.
Ryuk’s eyebrow furrowed in slight displease.

The voice resounded beside Ryuk as he turned his head to the fat man.
"If you can render them useless in just a few seconds, then you can probably kill them in half the time. If they love their lives, they should know better than to risk them on a useless endeavor..."
The fat man said to Ryuk, but at the same time, he was also communicating to his companions, whose eyes flashed from his words.

"So what would your blind loyalty have done for you? An unceremonious death for you and your companions.
"And you think your death will mean anything to Alexander Salvatore, your true boss?"
"Heck, he might not even know you guys exist. You’ll all just be tagged as one unceremonious bunch of unlucky officials who ended up dead, like dying to some mysterious person."
"So, don’t you think loyalty is a bit overrated in the end?"
Ryuk asked with a smirk while staring at Tuyo, whose eyes were currently wide open in shock, sweat pouring down from his face.
But he wasn’t the only one.
Marais and Gorin also had the same shock flashing in their eyes.

That said, Ryuk turned his gaze to the monitor, where the large map could be seen, and he noticed the blue train was slowly inching closer and closer to the Salvatore Royalty Base.
"If your goal is Titan City, then you should drop off at this junction," Tuyo said as he magnified the map, revealing a shorter road that led to Titan City, which the train was rapidly approaching.
"Why?" Ryuk asked calmly.
"If you decide to get off at the Salvatore base, there are checkpoints along the way, and I’m afraid you’ll end up being discovered.
"There is an ability user who can see everyone in the train and ensure they are part of the base.
"You will be discovered, no doubt. And even if you manage to trick them, you’ll be discovered in the Salvatore base, and the distance will be twice as long compared to if you got down here instead.

Once Ryuk left this train, Tuyo would be the first to communicate with their base, and a warning would be issued to Titan City for an upcoming intruder.
If Tuyo didn’t do that, his two companions would.
So saying he wasn’t discovered yet was a fantasy unless he never planned on leaving the train.
The best thing to do was to probably kill all three of them.
Then none would even know they were dead, and the safety of his identity would be guaranteed—at least.
But then, that was too much of a waste to Ryuk.
To kill three people just because he was trying to keep his identity safe was too much of a flex for him to handle.
Even if they alerted the Titan City base, if he decided to go all out, who could stop him?
What he believed more was that the distance would be lower if he got off at the nearest bus stop. That was enough reason for him to take his drop here.
"That’s a good observation, Tuyo..." Ryuk stated, getting on his feet, as the pressure in the room seemed to increase.
The trio knew well—this was the time for their death.
And the smart decision for Ryuk to make was to kill them to cover up his tracks.
But they were more surprised when he calmly headed toward one of the windows by the side, as it suddenly shattered into nothing.
Ryuk placed his hand on it, giving one last look at the trio.
"You both should thank him for you still being alive," were his last words before he jumped out the door as the train continued on its way.
All three looked at where he had disappeared from, unmoving.
So much so that they forgot to quickly call up their base.
All they were sure of was that they had been very close to death today.
Perhaps, a little too close.
