Abyss Draconis Chapter 464

Chapter 464: Revealing The Titan Mindflow Sutra

“I got the permission from High Scholar Emeris,” said Instructor Kiyana, her voice carrying through the green grass where she sat with none other than Ryuk.

The rest of the students had already left.

“Permission for wha—” Ryuk began asking when he watched an object slip out from the void and appear in her hands.

A silvery-white book, with dots of silvery Aetheris swirling around it, revealing it was an Aetheris cultivation manual.

“Oh, you got the manual?” he asked as he nodded.

She turned to him but then shook her head.

“But I don’t think you’ll be needing it,” she said.

A thump echoed in Ryuk’s heart, but he asked anyway, “And why is that?”

“Because one can only change their Aetheris Manual once they reach the Eidon Lord Realm.

“If you’re below that, you’re stuck with whatever manual you used to start your cultivation. And I know you already have a cultivation manual of your own.”

“If so, you won’t cause as much chaos as you did the previous night,” she explained as the silvery-white grimoire faded from her hands.

She stared at Ryuk with narrowed eyes, her lips holding a knowing grin.

“I was wondering how I got back into my bed. So it was you,” he said.

“Disappointed?” she teased, and Ryuk rolled his eyes.

“No, I’m not. And thank you, anyway, for not leaving me to sleep cold in the night.”

“It wasn’t just about sleeping cold in the night.”

“A couple of elders were alerted by the disturbance and are currently looking for whoever is responsible.”

“If they had caught you sleeping there last night, you probably would’ve woken up in chains,” she said, her tone now serious, confirming Ryuk’s suspicions that there really could be consequences for whatever caused the anomaly.

The scene last night was too big, but even Ryuk didn’t know just how big it truly was.

But then, there was a problem.

If she knew he was the one who caused the scene, and the Elders were actively searching, why wouldn’t she turn him in?

“You don’t need to worry about that,” she said suddenly, as if reading his mind.

“If I wanted to sell you out, I would’ve just left you there and let the Elders do their thing.”

“And why would you do that? Choose a machine boy you barely know for a day over the acknowledgment of your own race?” he asked.

Instructor Kiyana shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t need much acknowledgment from my race. I’ve already earned enough of that. And I saved you… to get an explanation from you.”

“I want to see something of yours…”

“And what is that?” Ryuk asked.

“Your cultivation manual. The one that caused so much chaos from a simple absorption. I want to see it.”

He wondered if he should get out of there with force or lie his way through, but in the end, he stretched forth his hands and then—

The ground shook as a gigantic grimoire slammed into it, shocking Instructor Kiyana speechless.

She rose to her feet, her hand reaching out to pick up the heavy book, only for her eyes to flash midway as she felt its weight.

“There it is…” Ryuk said with not much more than a shrug as he watched Instructor Kiyana pick it up, opening the book and scanning through it.

She read with such speed that she was done in just about two minutes.

Her eyes narrowed as she closed the book and looked at Ryuk.

“It’s impossible to cultivate unless you have Big Veins?” she asked, incredulous.

“So even if your elders want it from me, or you yourself want to seize it, you’d all just end up exploding one by one.”

“No Aetheris cultivator but me can cultivate it. So I’m not afraid of anyone finding out,” Ryuk said with a shrug.

Instructor Kiyana furrowed her brows before reading through the book one more time.

Finally, she closed it and handed it back to Ryuk.

“I wasn’t planning on cultivating it.”

“Our Silverunic Requiem is still the best cultivation technique in the entire Medysla World, and we have more than enough Aether cultivation tomes to choose from—including forbidden ones.”

“One more forbidden technique, especially one as dangerous as yours, isn’t needed,” she said with pride.

Ryuk simple shrugged his shoulders.

“Judging from yesterday, I guess you should have been able to find out your mental veins and even managed to absorb some Aetheris, right”

“And I can sense now that you’re finally at the Initial Lucid Spark Stage.”

“That’s good improvement for a single night.”

“Now you need to keep growing—from the Initial Lucid Spark Stage to the Peak Stage. And all you need to do until then is keep absorbing Aetheris energy as much as you can.”

“So today, we won’t be doing much but cultivating.”

“Let’s begin already,” Instructor Kiyana said as she took her seat once more, a silvery aura of Aether soon leaking from her as she silently began her cultivation.

Ryuk looked down for a while before he, too, calmed his breath.

But instead of sitting, he rose to his feet—something that didn’t escape the notice of Instructor Kiyana, whose eyes remained closed but brows raised questioning.

As Ryuk stood, his hands came together and began forming the sigils once more. Then his lips started to move in sync.

Instructor Kiyana’s eyes fully opened when she felt the air for miles suddenly gather around Ryuk, forming a revolving column around him.

She watched as his feet slowly lifted off the ground and then—

Aether energy began pouring into Ryuk like a dam breaking, as he remained standing upright in the air, silently phasing into cultivation.

“One truly has to stand to cultivate this technique… Of all the Aether cultivation tomes I’ve read about, I’ve never seen anything like it,” she silently mused to herself.

But then she noticed how Ryuk remained in the same state, cultivating without any sign of distress.

Eventually, she closed her eyes again and resumed her own cultivation.

Peace and silence descended into the green garden.
