An hour’s drive passed quietly as Antares noticed the journey coming to a smooth, silent rhythm. No rush.
Ryuk simply maintained the same speed, his gaze seemingly fixed on the road, yet somehow staring far off—distant.
In the end, Antares watched him bring out his device.
The second Ryuk unlocked it, he opened Toogle and typed:
Largest Weapon Crafting Agency Main Base on Endearth.
Just a few seconds passed before the search revealed itself.
Ryuk’s expression didn’t shift much, but Antares could tell he had found the location he was looking for.
He quickly selected it and uploaded the coordinates into the car.
The AI voice rang out:
[New Map Location Has Been Discovered]
[Accessing Completed]
[Recharting Map on Screen]
Immediately, the 2D map image on Ryuk’s display shifted, revealing a new destination.
Without hesitation, Ryuk swerved the wheel fully. The car screeched loudly on the road as it changed lanes and direction and thne—
Slamming his leg on the accelerator, it surged forward with incredible speed, the nitro numbers rapidly rising as they blasted through the air like a phantom.
"Where are we going?" Antares asked, noticing something subtly but definitely different about Ryuk.
A difference as clear as a switch being flipped in the darkness.
"We’re going to get you that Forge," Ryuk said, his foot pressing harder on the accelerator as they rapidly closed in on the location of the TitanEdge Forge Organization.
"But I thought you needed to meet someone first and get introduced to help us out?" Antares asked, furrowing his brows as he watched Ryuk’s focus stay glued to the road.
"Tch. Getting stuck here while everyone else is dressed in suits... Talk about a shitty life," muttered a voice inside a small hut-like outpost nestled between two massive gates.
At the top of the gates, the words "TitanEdge Forge" were etched, declaring it the official entrance to the organization.
"You can’t blame the boss. He literally paid us three times our usual salary just to be here today. We should be grateful, instead," a lower and nervous replied.
"Yeah, right. As if anyone would willingly come here instead of being among those high-profile elites."
"It’s literally a chance to meet your idols. Only a fool would miss that."
GRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!
Immediately, their conversation halted as they both turned, hearing the unmistakable roar of an approaching vehicle that got louder and louder by the second.
Instinctively, they dashed out of the building.
The first thing they saw was a white-colored hypercar speeding straight toward the gate. Without wasting time, they began waving at it to slow down.
"The organization is closed for—" one of the guards roared before the car reached them.
Its window opened up suddenly, and a hand stretched out towards them both, flashing with golden motes of energy.
Gasps escaped both guards as they felt a sudden force wrap around their throats tightly as their hands instantly reached for it, but half way through—
They were lifted off their feet and slammed into the gates, which burst open violently, rolling them across the floor as the VelicNova whipped past them and continued deeper into the compound.
"Now that is quite an entrance!" Antares’s voice echoed from the side, his crimson hair flaring wildly as Ryuk swerved the car with practiced speed, screeching into the designated vehicle garage before bringing it to a halt.
The door opened, and they stepped out, calmly making their way forward toward the enormous organizational doors about thirty meters away.
But before he could reach them, they opened on their own, and ten men stepped out simultaneously.
They were all male, impossibly tall, revealing their Titan identity.
Instantly, they raised their hands forward and shouted in unison:
"You are trespassing on TitanEdge Forge Premises."
"Stop right there and go down on your knees, or we’ll be forced to act!" one of them—the tallest—bellowed with a voice like a crack of thunder.
But Ryuk didn’t stop, calmly continuing his stride towards them.
"You gave us no choice. Take him down!" the leader barked.
Nine of the Titans rushed forward—
The sound of golden lightning danced from the sky, striking their towering figures.
Antares watched in awe, currents of energy blasting down on these tall beings as mist covered everywhere, but then, Titans burst out from within the mist.
Each was ten meters tall, raising their enormous palms and slamming them downward toward Ryuk and Antares.
Palms from all directions—each large enough to cover them in complete shadow.
Ryuk raised his gaze toward the incoming attacks, a crimson gleam flickering in his eyes, and within the next instant—
The sound of something slicing through the air rang out sharply.
The massive palms stopped just inches above Ryuk’s head, then suddenly veered off course as they were all severed, detached entirely in a flash, the limbs separated into five pieces each, which then continued into tiny fragments before—
A crimson blood mist exploded through the air. The severed limbs oozed blood as they disintegrated, scattering across the ground.
The remaining Titans stumbled back in shock, eyes widened in horror at their mutilated hands.
He continued his steps undeterred and within seconds, stood before the leader, who instinctively moved, blinking out of existence.
The air flapped Ryuk’s cloth widely, as he felt a punch snaked from the side and slammed towards his right ear.
Shockwaves undulated forth from the power, as the punch quickly made its way forward towards Ryuk, who didn’t seem to be able to dodge in time, nor was even fast enough to make any attempt to
A massive palm appeared, grabbing the punch mid-air.
The leader’s eyes widened as he looked past Ryuk’s side... and saw the five-meter-tall crimson-haired man standing behind him, effortlessly catching the strike in his massive hand.
Ryuk turned his gaze to the man, his voice calm but firm.
"Lead me to your best Forge Room."
"Tch. Damn you!" the leader roared back, golden lightning dancing violently around him as he quickly decide to shift into his titan form.
Powerful golden lightning danced, but before it could fall on the man, the space before him distorted, and his eyes widened to their maximum, as he saw a fist smashing towards him, the space around it crumbling into glass fragments toward his face, and then—
It connected with such raw force that his entire facial bones collapsed inward, teeth and blood flying out from the slightest contact before the entire fist fully smashed and then,
The leader’s body blasted backward at terrifying speed, crashing into the far wall and punching a hole through it, before vanishing into the distance.
Not to be seen at all, as if he never existed.
