Chapter 567: True Awakening of The Nexus Legion
“Activate Techno Void Ruin.”
Immediately, the Techno Void Ruin opened up right before Ryuk, who rose and disappeared into it.
When he stepped into the Techno Void Ruin, he instantly felt the change in the air.
The stifling power that meandered through the entire area… an energy he couldn’t quite grasp, Techno Energy, filled every space.
And then, he noticed—the place which was once filled with broken structures and chaotically glitching Gravity zones was nowhere to be found.
Instead, there was nothing but a Blue Void that reached into the farthest depths of space he could see.
A Dark Void, truth be told, but completely littered in glittering blue Techno Void patterns and fragments.
That was when he looked forward—and saw an orderly construct of Techno Warriors before him.
“They’ve grown…” he murmured, voicing the first thing that came to mind when he looked at the Constructs.
For one, Ryuk could notice that there were no more Origin Stage experts among all of his Constructs. The least powerful of them was now at the Ascension Stage.
[Yes. The leveling up has upgraded each soldier one class tier above.]
[For that reason, all the Origin Stage units have been upgraded to the Ascension Stage, leaving no Origin Stage anymore.]
The system notification flashed before his gaze, and Ryuk gave a nod.
But then a thought flashed in his mind.
“Ascendant General Oblivor was at the Eternity Stage before. If the leveling made them all rise one tier higher, then does that mean…?” he asked aloud.
That was when his heart quaked within him, and he unconsciously paused in the blue void.
A deep halo of light, blinding to the eye, slowly descended like the calm arrival of a god.
Behind it, a total of ten more figures appeared—ones Ryuk couldn’t recognize at all. Yet, their power level… each one of them was at the Eternity Stage.
When Ascendant General Oblivor floated downward toward him, the energy thrumming out from his form was beyond anything Ryuk had ever experienced in his life.
But even more surprising was the sight that followed.
Ascendant General Oblivor pulled out his sword and then dipped it into the empty void.
In an instant, a blue ripple of energy bursts out from the sword’s tip as it rapidly moved through the entire Void, forming a solid blue Crystal platform.
Behind him, all of the Constructs dropped onto the platform as Oblivor slid onto one knee, head bowed.
“We kneel only to the Nexus Sovereign!”
The thick voice echoed throughout the entire Void space as knees collapsed onto the glowing platform, heads bowed in perfect unison.
A light flickered to life in Ryuk’s eyes as he took in the sight, a flame rushing through his heart before he moved his hand forward and ordered:
His voice rang out, and all of the Techno Constructs rose back to their stance—the beastly ones among them rising back up on all fours.
Ryuk’s gaze subtly sharpened as it swept across them.
Walking toward Ascendant General Oblivor, he looked into the hole that was present on Oblivor’s mask, where a burning golden light glowed from within.
Those eyes—Ryuk could tell—they held more intelligence than ever before.
“Can you all understand my words now, Oblivor?”
“I understand your commands, Nexus Sovereign. The ten other Ascendant Generals also understand your commands, and the rest of the Nexus Legions understand the words of I, and the 10 Ascendant Generals,” Oblivor declared, turning slightly to glance at the other ten.
Ryuk could still remember the system’s wording when he leveled up the Techno Void Ruin:
1. All 200 units will ascend one class tier upwards.
2. A total of 10 new Eternity-Level Experts, 30 Cataclysm Experts, and 70 Dominion Experts.]
The ten before him were the new Eternity-Level Experts, and each was unique in their own right.
“Introduce yourselves, Ascendant Generals,” Ryuk commanded.
One by one, they stepped out.
The first was the most hulking among all the Constructs Ryuk possessed, standing at a height of 15 meters. Covered in glittering red energy scales, he stepped forward, every movement of his feet shaking the platform as if it struggled to hold his sheer weight.
By his side, a red grimoire floated, and soon light flared from it as his hand reached forward.
A runic obelisk materialized before him, which quickly morphed into a gigantic 10-meter tall shield. Then, with his other hand, he summoned a gigantic broadsword—a blend of Tech and Red—that slammed onto the ground beside the shield.
Despite all that, he dropped to one knee, still towering above them all with ease.
“I, Ascendant General Mechadon, of the WARFORGER UNIT, am at the command of the Nexus Sovereign.”
Immediately after, a new figure followed up.
It was a beast—a powerful cat-like being, covered in the same sci-fi armor. But its face was revealed, showing the smooth, game-like blue halo of a beast, with two piercing golden eyes.
It was the third biggest among them all, standing at 12 meters tall. It lowered its head to the ground before a voice echoed directly into Ryuk’s mind:
“I, Ascendant General Blitzrend, of the WARFORGER UNIT, am at the command of the Nexus Sovereign.”
Stepping out next was another figure, standing at 5 meters tall but more humanoid. From the body shape, it seemed more feminine.
A purple grimoire floated beside her and soon flared bright as an object appeared in her hands—a gigantic 10-meter tall scythe that was twice her own size.
It’s end slammed onto the floor before going down on both knees.
“I, Ascendant General Veltrix, of the WARFORGER UNIT, am at the command of the Nexus Sovereign.”
Another stepped out, resembling more of a polar bear, covered in white glowing Tech exoskin. It walked on both legs toward Ryuk before getting down on all fours and lowering its head before him
“I, Ascendant General Grizzak, of the WARFORGER UNIT, am at the command of the Nexus Sovereign.”
The one who came out next was a humanoid being of about 3 meters in height, but its features were hidden beneath drapes of glitching, invisible energy. Its body seemingly appeared and disappeared in flickers.
It stepped out in front of Ryuk silently before kneeling—complete silence engulfing the surrounding space as though his existence consumed all sound.
“I, Ascendant General Slythar, of the NEURO SHADE UNIT, am at the command of the Nexus Sovereign.”
