Mimili frowned and looked at her father: "What nonsense are you talking about?"

The president’s gaze turned more piercing as she whispered back,
"Don’t try to use our country’s interests to curry favor with your New Federation masters.
"If you want to provoke the wrath of the Sherman Empire, then go to the Sherman Empire yourself and hang a banner insulting their Emperor!"
Several politicians frowned deeply, staring at the president.
"Yes, that’s what I said."
Without waiting for them to speak, the president said calmly,
"You may feel free to fabricate some charge to impeach me, but now, as long as I sit in this chair, I am also the supreme commander of the Cas Federation’s military forces, Generals!"
