Yang Ming exclaimed, "That’s cool."
"Cool?" Bryant sighed as he sat down, staring at the water in the pool, "It actually cost me a great deal."
"Sorry, I didn’t know all that..."
Bryant gently shook his head, gazing affectionately at Yang Ming.
Yang Ming averted his gaze, seriously said, "Yayu actually told me a lot."
"I know, that woman always opposes me," Bryant spread his hands, "You won’t believe her, will you?"
Yang Ming said, "I don’t quite understand, what exactly do you mean by ’collectibles’?"
Bryant remained silent, the corners of his mouth sporting a faint smile.
A shock went through Yang Ming’s heart.
Was this freak about to make a move on him?
Yang Ming stayed silent for a few seconds, then asked, "Bryant?"
"I’m very lonely," Bryant sighed softly, "From the day I was born, I was alone, alone and struggling, I didn’t know where to go, what the meaning of my existence was."
Yang Ming glanced behind him unconsciously.
Several transformed people, carrying trays, slowly approached, their expressions blank, breathing steady, clearly showing abnormal mental states.
On the trays were placed ’holographic helmets’ and related accessories.
Bryant kept talking to himself, "Do you understand me, Ming?"
"Understand, understand?"
Yang Ming purposely trembled as he spoke, "How do you want me to understand you? Is everything they said true? Are you turning your friends into collectibles like living dead?"
"We could have had a very fulfilling month of vacation, Ming."
Bryant turned his head to look at Yang Ming, speaking earnestly,
"I had planned it all, we could watch the dance of ten thousand people on fire, participate in grand parades, take photos with interstellar travelers who look like frogs, and see the Constant Star set on the beautiful beach.
"I had it all planned, if not for that bitch Yayu suddenly causing trouble, our memories would have been very fulfilling."
Shit, was this a revealing moment?
He stood up, pretending to leave, but two self-hovering laser pistols pressed against his forehead.
Bryant muttered, "When facing life-threatening dangers, mental suggestions always fail, since survival is an instinct of living beings... Ming, would you stay with me? Our spirits can merge without limits, and we’d truly become partners."
Yang Ming squinted slightly.

Above the mansion, a triggered protective energy shield appeared, firmly blocking a miniature missile, unknown from where it was fired, blossoming into a huge ’firework’ in the sky.
Bryant’s expression drastically changed, he flipped over and looked upwards.
Yang Ming also looked up in slight astonishment, instinctively distancing himself from Bryant.
He had already planned to subdue Bryant, then slowly figure out how to counteract Bryant spiritually; just a split second before acting, this ’big firework’ happened.
Yang Ming squinted lightly, spotting the girl quietly standing on a floating skateboard in the air.
She had changed into a tight-fitting combat suit, the golden mask shaped like the Chinese character for ’return’ glinting faintly, holding a chainsaw-like long sword taller than her body.
Her calm voice clearly echoed inside and outside the mansion.
"You were indeed deceiving me."
Bryant’s face turned a bit pale, his lips twitched slightly, coldly said, "Captain, my patience has limits."
Multiple miniature missiles left the skateboard’s underslung munition bay, trailing flames as they shot toward the protective shield above the mansion.
And Catherine had already flipped off the floating skateboard, the gears in her long sword beginning to spin rapidly, like a human-sized bomb, crashing directly towards the mansion!
