The warriors fighting in close combat with the insects showed no cowardice or retreat.

All he could see were the rough details of the defensive line, the number of enemies, and the mobilization of his own forces; he had no time to care about how the soldiers were sacrificed or overwhelmed by the insect swarm.
The red dots representing the insect swarm rapidly receded.
Four Dreadnoughts fired again, their massive ion beams nearly grazing the edge of the fleet’s defensive line, clearing a broad space in front of the fleet.
The red dots receded significantly.
Such was the power of the Dreadnoughts!
But now, the four Dreadnoughts had to enter a cooling period to inspect the main cannon systems and quickly replenish energy.
"The Dreadnoughts fall back to the second line, keep only the core guard squad."
General Thomas ordered calmly, "Release the firepower of the Dreadnought escort fleet, encircle and annihilate the insect swarm near the defensive line.
"Prepare all ships for charging, charge immediately no matter how much energy remains, and move the Supply Ships forward.
"Main battleships of the second line, step forward to fill the gaps!"
The remaining insect swarms continued to assault the defensive line, the pressure from the first wave of the swarm was still persistent, but the pressure began to reduce swiftly.

General Thomas clenched his fists, covered in white gloves, his eyes fixed ahead.
There, the immense queen was surrounded by countless adult insects; the swarm seemed to form some kind of strange stance.
Around the queen, space was severely distorted, the lensing effect at the edges of over ten wormholes outlined their own contours.
One by one, Insect Race Battleships flew out of the wormholes!
General Thomas suddenly gestured forcefully forward!
"Squads twelve to fifteen, initiate the tethered jump!"
On the left side of the battlefield, in a space area not involved in the swarm, several Tether Ships revealed their profiles; these special vessels, shaped like sailboats, cast several dazzling beams in the profound cosmos!
The shaking space forcefully stabilized.
Space around the Tether Ships rapidly expanded, the gently unfolding time here suddenly slowed down considerably!
Inducers activated; the fleet jumped!
Various sized ships appeared near the beams, two Dreadnoughts that had already completed their safety charges aimed their guns at the queen.

Most of the wormholes around the queen collapsed, several Insect Race Battleships that had not yet deployed suffered a fatal blow, and large clusters of fusion light balls appeared around the queen!
But Thomas deeply furrowed his brow.
"Dreadnoughts firing... firing ineffective!"
"An indistinguishable energy has appeared around the queen, this energy separates space, General, what this means is, although the queen appears to be in the same space as us, she is actually not in the same space as us, of course, this doesn’t mean she is completely not in our space."
Thomas growled lowly.
The Ambush Fleet kept firing, and after a full-energy shot, the Dreadnoughts were rapidly replenishing energy, preparing for the second shot.
The good news was, the ambush caught the swarm off guard, and most of the space wormholes they initially opened collapsed.
The bad news was... it seemed the queen was enraged.
An ethereal chanting sound suddenly penetrated every human’s mind.
Thomas’s mind was slightly dazed, as if everything around had vanished, leaving only the powerful queen standing under the stars.
She began chanting something, her arms covered in fine scales slowly opening as if to embrace the Human Fleet.
A layer of visibly silver-white protective shield appeared around her.
The swarm originally floating around her immediately rushed towards the protective shield, toward the surface of the queen’s body, as if they were armoring the queen with a layer of carapace, or forming a "Mecha" specifically for the queen.
The swarm and the queen seemed to become one entity.
The originally thirty-thousand-meter-tall queen began to rapidly expand and grow, maintaining only the original shape outline, her facial features gradually blurring.
Along with the expansion was that silver-white protective shield, capable of completely blocking the firepower of the Human Fleet.
Behind the queen, space wormholes were dug up again, countless insects swarmed out, directly joining the surroundings of the queen.
Thomas’s Adam’s apple trembled.
It was as if he was witnessing the birth of an insect-made celestial body.
How can we fight this?
"General, we are deciphering the energy composition of the queen’s protective shield; it’s somewhat beyond our technical level!"
"All ships, focus fire, reserve energy!"
Thomas issued orders, his brain rapidly spinning with thoughts.
