Just like that, Shen Yan was picked up by Lu Yan and placed on the bed. She wanted to push Lu Yan away, but he had already let go of her.
Shen Yan raised her eyes to look at Lu Yan. The place that he had touched felt extremely warm. After she regained her senses, she pretended to hand the watch calmly to Lu Yan. “This is yours.”
“Thank you.” Lu Yan smiled and took the watch from Shen Yan. He lowered his head and put it on.
His expression was as calm as ever, as if nothing had happened.
Shen Yan felt that Lu Yan was deliberately flirting with her, but she had no evidence. Lu Yan had already put on his watch. He bent slightly till he was on the same eye level as Shen Yan. He smiled and looked at her. “Yanyan, you saved me last night and helped me retrieve my watch today. Do you really not need me to give myself to you?”
His voice was magnetic and bewitching.
Shen Yan looked at Lu Yan and met his beautiful peach blossom eyes. It had to be said that when Lu Yan’s eyes looked at her, they were so gentle that one could drown in them, making one unable to extricate themselves.
Shen Yan pushed Lu Yan away and stood up. Just when she was about to walk out, her feet suddenly went numb. She sat back down in pain and sucked in a deep breath.

Then, Lu Yan’s leg accidentally made contact with Shen Yan’s numb right foot. The pain caused Shen Yan to frown.
“You’re the most important to me.” Lu Yan stared at Shen Yan and stated seriously.
Shen Yan lowered her head and did not speak. She felt that Lu Yan was like a candy factory, using all kinds of sugar-coated bullets and sweet words at her.
Women liked to hear good things.
Shen Yan was no exception.
Although Shen Yan knew that Lu Yan was just saying it casually, her heart was still racing.

Shen Yan lowered her head and looked at Lu Yan. The warmth from her feet seemed to warm her entire body. “I’m fine.” Shen Yan did not want to get too close to Lu Yan. She knew very well that she did not love Lu Yan, and she would not be able to repay his kindness.
Hence, the better he treated her, the more guilty she felt.
“Thank you. You should hurry back to the company.” Shen Yan pursed her lips and looked at him.
Lu Yan put the towel back into the bathroom. He noticed that Shen Yan’s expression was not right, but he did not know what he did that made her upset. Hence, he smiled and replied, “Okay.”
Lu Yan originally wanted to pat Shen Yan, but he retracted his hand.
He then walked out and went straight to the front door.
Shen Yan sat in the room and heard the sound of the door closing. She knew that Lu Yan had already left.
Chen Nian had been lurking at the entrance of her house the whole time, and she was looking through her peephole. When she saw Lu Yan coming out of Shen Yan’s house, she quickly came out of her house. She then took out the key to Shen Yan’s house and opened the door.
She closed the door shut this time. After making sure that Lu Yan would not come back, she went to look for Shen Yan.
Shen Yan came out of the guest room. She poured a glass of red wine and was about to drink when she saw Chen Nian walking over from the entrance.
