“Let’s head out for dinner,” Fu Hang proposed as he released Shen Yan.
Shen Yan smiled and nodded. She was not yet hungry.
The burgers were distributed to Lin Nan and the others upon their leave.
After eating outside, they both returned home. Shen Yan believed that Fu Hang would be unable to find the vase she had specially ordered because he had never been to the study.
Shen Yan did not spot Fu Hang in the living room when she ended her phone call in the bedroom. Upon noticing that the door of the study was ajar, she headed in its direction.
She opened the door to her office and observed Fu Hang standing in front of her desk.
“Dear.” Fu Hang turned around and looked at Shen Yan. “What is this?”
Shen Yan’s ears became uncontrollably red. She was aware that Fu Hang was asking the most obvious question, so she did not respond to his inquiry. She instead inquired, “Why are you here?”
Fu Hang’s lips subtly curled, and he swiftly regained his composure. “I simply wish to read.”
“You can continue reading then. I’m going to take a shower,” Shen Yan said, turning around to leave.
“I don’t comprehend one thing.” Fu Hang lifted his foot and approached Shen Yan. He embraced Shen Yan and inquired seriously, “Dear, where did the crystal vase come from?”
Fu Hang took Shen Yan to the desk and seated her there as he spoke. Then, he regarded the vase on Shen Yan’s right.
Shen Yan’s face became scarlet. She looked and met the smug gaze of Fu Hang. She pouted and nipped Fu Hang’s lips in retaliation.
Just as Shen Yan let go of Fu Hang, she felt his grip tighten.
Fu Hang lowered his head and looked straight at Shen Yan. With a seductive tone, he inquired, “Baby, is this your token of attachment?”
Shen Yan had always had thin skin. Hearing Fu Hang’s statements, she swiftly said, “No, that’s just a vase for the flowers.”
“No, it’s a token of attachment,” Fu Hang said as he dipped his head and gently bit Shen Yan’s neck.
Instantaneously, a hickey appeared on Shen Yan’s neck.
Shen Yan’s body trembled uncontrollably. Before she could respond, Fu Hang carried her.
The master bedroom was next to the study room. Shen Yan was placed on the bed by Fu Hang.Her heart was slightly trembling. Before she could speak, Fu Hang had already pressed down from above and trapped her in his embrace.
His huge hand immediately grabbed her hand, and his lips landed on Shen Yan’s lips without hesitation.
When Shen Yan attempted to resist, she was unable to avoid succumbing to it.
The next morning, when Shen Yan awoke, Fu Hang was no longer in the room, but the blanket on the side was still warm. It appeared that Fu Hang had not been awake for very long.
Shen Yan raised her hand and rubbed her eyes. She was a little tired, and she could not help but want to stay in bed.
She eventually got up, however, because she still had work to do.
The blanket slid down with her movements, and she felt a little cold.She was about to put on the bathrobe when she accidentally caught sight of herself.
Hickeys adorned her fair complexion. Her heart jumped.The episode from last night immediately resurfaced in her head, causing her face to flush.
Fu Hang was truly shameless!
Shen Yan grabbed her bathrobe and approached the vanity mirror while wearing it. When she looked in the mirror, her neck and collarbone were covered with hickeys. It appeared like she had to wear a blouse with a high collar in order to leave the house today.
She cleaned herself and tidied up. When she emerged from the toilet, she saw Fu Hang emerge from the kitchen carrying breakfast.
“Dear is so brilliant. You know that the temperature will drop today. You did a wonderful job keeping warm!” Fu Hang remarked with a grin.
Hearing Fu Hang’s words, Shen Yan was nonplussed that she chuckled. She called out unhappily, “Fu Hang!”
“Good morning, Sweetheart.” Fu Hang placed the meal on the table and approached her. He lightly kissed her forehead.
