“Okay,” Fu Hang answered and his gaze fell on the pasta sticking on the corner of Shen Yan’s mouth. He leaned over to her and gently licked the pasta off her mouth.
Shen Yan’s ears were slightly red, but she put on a calm demeanor and continued, “Don’t forget to send me the results.”
“Okay.”
After eating, Shen Yan changed into a new set of clothes and pulled her packed luggage toward the entrance.
Miss Na was already waiting downstairs.
Fu Hang followed behind Shen Yan without saying a word. In fact, he looked quite pitiful.
Shen Yan let go of her luggage and walked up to Fu Hang. She reached out to hug him and said softly, “Take good care of yourself. I’ll miss you.”
“How much will you miss me?”
Shen Yan pushed Fu Hang away shyly and said with a smile, “I’ll miss you bery much. It’s getting late. I’ll leave first.”
“Be careful on the way.”
Fu Hang reminded her worriedly.
Shen Yan smiled slightly. Seeing that Fu Hang was going to kiss her, she quickly grabbed her luggage and left. Otherwise, she might have to redo her makeup if she allowed Fu Hang to do whatever he pleased.
Shen Yan sent a message to Fu Hang when she reached the set, and then she got busy with work.
Fu Hang had just finished changing his bandage at the hospital. He replied to Shen Yan’s message and walked out.
Lin Nan stood behind him and said, “President Fu, the family of the driver that crashed into you wants to see you.”
“No way,” Fu Hang said firmly.
He was so busy that his feet did not touch the ground. How could he have time to meet such a person?
Lin Nan seemed to have deduced what Fu Hang meant and said, “Okay, then I’ll go and turn her down now.”
Fu Hang waved his hand indifferently.
Lin Nan sent Fu Hang to the company and then called the driver’s family. “Mrs Zhao, I’m really sorry. I’ll follow the protocol for this case!”
Mrs Zhao’s pleading voice came from the phone, “Secretary Lin, can you discuss it with President Fu? My husband didn’t do it on purpose. He simply acted foolishly out of fear. Can you ask President Fu be more merciful?”
Lin Nan narrowed his eyes. It was not right to drink and drive, and it even resulted in a car crash involving other people.
At that time, Fu Hang had a hard time getting out of his car. The driver who caused the accident stood aside and remained still. Not only did he not go forward to help, but he fled as though he had seen a ghost.
Lin Nan could not understand how Mrs Zhao had the courage to ask Fu Hang to be merciful. He said calmly, “Mrs Zhao, you should spend money to hire a better lawyer now!”
“Secretary Lin, we are just an ordinary family. Our family is poor. Can you let President Fu know that my family is struggling and let us make amends with money? If my husband really goes to jail, our family will starve to death. Can you let us compensate with 6 million?”
“Mrs Zhao, I have other matters to attend to. You should quickly hire a lawyer.” After Lin Nan said that, he hung up the phone with a livid face.
Fortunately, Fu Hang did not speak to Mrs. Zhao on the phone. Otherwise, they would have been in a far worse predicament.
Fu Hang did not care about the driver at all. What he was most concerned about now was when Shen Yan’s production team would be on vacation.

Shen Yan finally had two days off. She dragged her luggage out of the set and was about to get in the car to go home when she heard someone call her.

Shen Yan turned her head and saw a man in a suit standing not far away. She said hesitantly, “Gu Wen?”
Gu Wen saw that Shen Yan recognized him and walked toward her. He smiled and said, “Long time no see!”
“Yes.” Shen Yan greeted him with a smile. In the past, he was from a neighboring class and they had attended a few classes together at university. “Long time no see.”
Right now, Shen Yan only wanted to go home and had no intention of catching up with him. She opened her mouth in an attempt to find an excuse to leave.
