Chloe Grant erupted with these words, speaking directly.
Matthew Morgan suddenly stepped forward.
Chloe was shocked, instinctively stepping back, fear evident in her eyes.
She took a step back, and Matthew stepped forward.
Eventually, Chloe’s body was pressed directly against the wall.
Matthew had already closed in...
Chloe turned to leave, and Matthew placed his hand against the wall... Chloe turned the other way, and Matthew’s hand still held firm!
Entrapping her tightly between the wall and himself.
He lowered his head, drawing closer, his gaze deep and penetrating, "Do you still not know why I keep you by my side?"
"You... you just treat me as a substitute..."
"You think I’m so bored that I bind a substitute to me every day?" Matthew’s words carried a hint of sarcasm.
Chloe was taken aback, looking up at him, but the next moment looked down in panic.

Initially, she had been ready to hold him accountable, but now she didn’t know what emotion to face this with.
She glanced at Matthew, his expression no different from usual—expressionless!
But those eyes... no matter how Chloe looked, they seemed much deeper than before...
"You, me, but... is kissing me at night something you enjoy too!" In her excitement, Chloe blurted this out.
As soon as she said it, she regretted it, quickly biting her lip, her face involuntarily turning red, her heart beating nervously.

"You have a lot of morning classes this year, so from now on, sleep earlier at night, and play fewer games." Matthew said seriously.
Chloe, holding her face, glanced at him and felt unsettled inside.
"Uncle Morgan, can I talk to you about something very serious?" Chloe put down her hand, her expression turning completely serious—
