Just thinking about how someone she liked so much was treated that way by Lily Grant... made her heart hurt even more than the wound on her back.
Now, she simply didn’t want to think about it and focused on eating.
"Nothing, keep eating. There’s plenty more here if you need it," Isabella Gray replied.
Chloe Grant somehow felt that Granny Morgan’s words had a hint of grievance...
"Oh, then I’ll keep eating."
Chloe Grant lowered her head, taking a cherry tomato and popped it into her mouth.
