"Little one, why are you being so disobedient?"
Damian Quinn sighed helplessly, his large, well-defined hands clasping the girl’s slender waist, his tone unusually firm.
"Rest for a while first."

The man’s captivating, mesmerizing eyes narrowed slightly as he pinched her small face with his long, jade-like fingers.
"Do you think your brother would believe that?"

The man looked down at her, his gaze soft and indulgent, his deep magnetic voice leisurely sounding in her ear.
"If you don’t care for yourself, I still care for my little one."
A warm current flowed through Serena’s heart, and she blinked lightly in compromise, nodding her head.
"Alright, then let’s rest for a while."
The man’s face finally showed a hint of a smile as he carried her steadily towards the bedroom.
"I promised you just a short rest!"
Damian Quinn lowered his head, planting a gentle kiss on the girl’s forehead, his voice tender with a tone that allowed no refusal.
"Leave the task of tracking down Walter Coleman’s whereabouts to me for now. Little one, your task now is to rest well!"

"Master, you summoned me. What’s the matter?"
Lucas Laine came rushing in, obviously having just returned not long ago.
Winston Winslow sat in the main seat, his face pale and haggard, but the aura he emitted was not to be underestimated.
"It’s nothing major, just wanted to ask how your investigation of Damian Quinn and his group’s whereabouts is going."
Lucas lowered his eyes and spoke respectfully.
"Master, we have yet to locate Damian Quinn and his group. The investigation is still ongoing."
Winston Winslow sneered, "That Damian Quinn is quite something, able to escape unscathed from the territory of the Netherworld Syndicate, and even managing to evade you! Truly impressive."
Upon hearing this, Lucas’s expression changed slightly, but before he could speak, Winston Winslow’s voice rang out again.
"Forget it, continue with the investigation. Make sure you capture Damian Quinn."
Lucas’s jaw tightened, and he nodded in agreement.
Winston Winslow picked up the teacup on the table, taking a light sip, his gaze cold, as if speaking unintentionally.
"Why haven’t I seen Serena these past few days?"
Lucas’s eyes deepened, then he spoke unhurriedly, "Serena has been in a bad mood these past few days and hasn’t left the villa..."
Before he could finish speaking, Winston Winslow’s face suddenly darkened, and the teacup in his hand smashed hard against Lucas.
"You’re still lying to me!"
Winston Winslow’s face was full of anger and disappointment, feeling deceived and betrayed.
"You actually helped Serena deceive me! Both of you have let me down so much!"
The scorching hot tea scalded his arm, but Lucas’s expression did not change at all, nor did he utter a cry of pain, calmly accepting Winston Winslow’s wrath.
"Master, please calm down..."
With a loud "bang," Winston Winslow angrily swept all the teaware off the table onto the ground.
"Shut up! Later, go to the punishment room yourself to receive your punishment."
Lucas’s refined face showed no emotion, he respectfully agreed.
He had long known that he couldn’t hide it from his master for long and had anticipated being punished for it.
But even so, if there were a next time, he still wouldn’t be able to refuse any of Serena’s requests...
