The waiter hesitated for a moment but still nodded and went to place the order.
The hot pot base quickly arrived, and so did the dishes. The group immediately placed the meat and vegetables into the pot.
Once the food was in, they waited another two or three minutes before it was finally ready.
Qin Yun ate with relish, her peach blossom eyes slightly squinting. This hot pot tasted much better than the one they made themselves last time. Although not as authentic as real hot pot, it was still pretty good.
Pei Yan lowered his eyes, cooked some beef, and placed it in Qin Yun’s bowl. Qin Yun instinctively turned her head and said thank you. Only when their eyes met did she realize it was Pei Yan sitting beside her.

Perhaps because of the exhaustion from running around all day, the hot pot tonight felt especially satisfying—eating meat in big mouthfuls, drinking alcohol in large swigs, singing joyously. By the time they finished, it was almost eight o’clock.
The group eagerly anticipated the hot spring at Pei Yan’s place. After finishing the hot pot, they quickly returned home to grab a change of clothes and headed to Pei Yan’s residence.
"Ladies first in the hot spring, while we chat over here. Pei Yan’s hot spring is a flowing one, it won’t matter," Chen Yao suggested.
The group fetched some drinks sponsored by the sponsor from the small fridge in Pei Yan’s place and took some snacks to the small terrace next to the hot spring room. Even while soaking in the hot spring, it didn’t hinder their conversation.
Additionally, the glass of the hot spring room was made from special glass, visible from inside but obscured from outside, which they had already investigated in the morning.
