Sheng Shaochen and Ye Shu were sitting on top of the church tower, commanding a high view when they witnessed an unbelievable scene!
They saw one armed individual carrying a box, sneakily hurrying towards the direction of the President Residence.
It might be that the president had sent out a secret agent, who had collected some information and was returning late at night to report it; thus, it wasn’t particularly strange. However, what was odd was that in a season where women could wear skirts, this person was actually dressed in long-sleeve cotton clothing, which was indeed suspicious!
Ye Shu looked serious and said, "Mr. Sheng, what do you think?"
Sheng Shaochen shook his head and said, "Hard to say, perhaps, inside that cotton clothing, there could be something shady hidden."
While they were talking, suddenly, several more dark figures emerged from the President Residence. Each had a big, heavy-looking sack over their shoulder. After they left the President Residence, they quietly closed its door.
Ye Shu said, "Those thieves really have some nerve, stealing from the President Residence?"
Sheng Shaochen’s eyebrows tightened slightly, "Have you ever seen thieves who close the door behind them after stealing?"
Ye Shu said, "You mean to say, those people were originally from the President Residence?"
Sheng Shaochen stroked his chin and said, "Exactly, the way they swaggered, they looked totally confident. They are undoubtedly people from the President Residence."
Ye Shu was even more puzzled, "People from the President Residence, why would they need to move things outside overnight? If they needed to move things, shouldn’t they wait until daylight unless it’s something clandestine?"

However, Ye Shu pushed him away and said, "We have to leave early tomorrow; Mr. Sheng, no more mischief. Go to bed and rest nicely."
"Okay, let’s rest together," Sheng Shaochen bent down for a princess carry and walked towards the bed.
Ye Shu wriggled out of his princess carry and landed, saying, "Shh, Little Chenchen, you sleep first, I still have things to do!"

Sheng Shaochen casually pulled out several books from that bookshelf. Surprisingly, upon opening them, they all contained illustrations even more explicit than mural paintings, and he laughed, "What useful things can you find here?"
"I found it!" Following Ye Shu’s light cry, an old, somewhat yellowed diary suddenly appeared before her.
