A uniformed beauty smiled and said, “You must be Mrs. Sheng, right?”
Ye Shu replied, “I guess… so.”
“Oh, then that’s correct! Mr. Sheng Shaochen asked us to measure Mrs. Sheng’s size according to Elizabeth I’s style so that we can create the world’s most beautiful, unique, and suitable sapphire ring for you, Madam.”
Ye Shu then realized that the guy wasn’t lacking confidence and planning to stay with her all day, but rather had scheduled people to come to measure the size, so she said, “Then come in.”
“Okay, Mrs. Sheng, thank you, Mrs. Sheng.” The two jewelry store designers followed Ye Shu inside.
Ye Shu invited the designers to sit on the living room sofa, planning to make them some tea, when she saw Sheng Shaochen walking out of the room, with only a white towel wrapped around his waist.
“Good morning, Mr. Sheng.” The two female designers hurriedly stood up to greet him. When Sheng Shaochen walked closer, their faces suddenly turned bright red!
Ye Shu felt something amiss and took a closer look. Instantly, she had the urge to hit someone!
She grabbed Sheng Shaochen’s arm and, without a word, pushed him back into the room, slammed the door shut, and glared at him!
“What’s wrong?” Sheng Shaochen asked, looking utterly perplexed, “Did Mrs. Sheng not find a style she liked in their brochure? Well then, let’s switch to another store!”
“Hmph! You shameless scoundrel!” Ye Shu pointed to the towel wrapped around his waist and said, “You obviously knew there were women visiting, yet you walked out like that. Are you trying to die!?”
Sheng Shaochen remained indifferent, “It’s like this every morning; is there a problem with that?”
“Hmph!” Ye Shu said, hands on her hips, “That’s mine, alright? How can you let other women see it? Even with a towel wrapped around— that’s not okay. If you dare play the rogue like this again, I really will snip it off!”
Sheng Shaochen mischievously whispered in her ear, “Since Mrs. Sheng doesn’t want it to be so impolite, think of a way to make it bow its head. Aren’t you the best at that?”
Ye Shu’s eyebrow twitched wildly, black lines covering her face, “Oh, so that’s your plan, you rascal!?”
Sheng Shaochen said nothing, his gaze revealing he had her figured out.
Ye Shu suddenly smiled too, “It’s just about making it abide by some rules. There’s not only one way to do that, hmph!”
Very soon, Ye Shu accomplished her task!
When Sheng Shaochen appeared downstairs in the living room again, he had already changed into pajamas, and the front no longer appeared as rudely bulging as before.
Nonetheless, the two lady designers still felt a bit embarrassed because of the previous scene. “Mr. Sheng, actually, you mentioned designing in the style of Elizabeth I’s sky gaze, but we think Mrs. Sheng’s fingers are longer and more delicate, we can design a unique ring for Mrs. Sheng that will look even better than others’ styles.”
Sheng Shaochen said, “Alright, call your headquarters and ask for the largest, most expensive, best gem!”
The designer laughed, “Mr. Sheng, custom designs don’t necessarily need the largest gems. What matters is the feeling when worn on the hand and the inherent meaning of the design. If we go with the largest gem, it’s like tying a blue shining brick to Mrs. Sheng’s hand…”
“Pfft!” Ye Shu laughed and said to Sheng Shaochen, “See, when it comes to jewelry, you’re clueless. You better listen to the professionals.”
