Bi Xia stood at the door, hands in pockets, lightly smiling, "Alright, I know. In the future, don’t be so impulsive when you do things, think about the consequences. Of course, if anyone falsely accuses you again, I won’t let them off."
Xu Renfei nodded with a smile and waved at Bi Xia as the nanny car slowly started moving. Only when he could no longer see Bi Xia did Xu Renfei look away.

"You rascal, always joking," Old Mrs. Xu chided with a laugh, then her tone turned serious, "Hurry back to Beijing, it’s important."
After hanging up, the smile on Xu Renfei’s face disappeared. He frowned and, just as he was about to call Qin Zhan, changed his mind after checking the time.
"Brother Fei, the boss said when you get back to Beijing, don’t go to the Xu Family first, find him instead," the assistant sister whispered.
Xu Renfei nodded and silently turned to look out of the window.
Standing at the door, Bi Xia took out the room card and opened the door. It was already around eleven o’clock, and he was utterly exhausted.
But because he was worried about Qin Zhan, who was still in Beijing, as soon as he closed the door, he turned on his phone and dialed Qin Zhan’s number.

The sound of vibrating echoed in the room. At that moment, a familiar and warm embrace came from behind.
Bi Xia startled at first, then turned around in surprise to see the person behind him.
That cold face carried a hint of softness, the eyes full of gentleness, but Bi Xia clearly saw the red veins and deep fatigue.
Gently placing a hand on the angular cheek, Bi Xia looked deeply at Qin Zhan and softly asked, "Why are you here?"
Qin Zhan nestled his head in the crook of Bi Xia’s neck and whispered, "I called someone, but they didn’t answer; I sent messages, and they didn’t reply. I got worried, so I flew back."
"Maybe I was recording the show." Bi Xia gently stroked Qin Zhan’s back, all his prior worries and frustrations melting away.
"But you were chatting with me before, then you just stopped." Qin Zhan, looking tall and cold, now sounded aggrieved, making Bi Xia feel as if he’d done something terribly wrong.
Bi Xia gave Qin Zhan a light slap, "Why do you think that happened, you can’t guess?"
Then, Bi Xia turned on the room light and pushed Qin Zhan away, "Do you think I can’t tell when you’re sick? Are you underestimating yourself or underestimating me?"
Qin Zhan leaned in to hug Bi Xia again, laughing muffledly, "I underestimated my position in your heart."
Bi Xia scoffed, "Really sorry, in your heart whatever position I have, you have the same in mine. If you can underestimate my importance to you, it means I’m not that important to you."
"Of course not," Qin Zhan said, "You’re as important to me as my life."
"Please don’t," Bi Xia pointed at Qin Zhan, "You only have one life; I can’t bear that burden."
"But isn’t that what you said?" Qin Zhan laughed, "How important you are to me is how important I am to you. I’ve already considered you my life, so with you, I must be your life too."
