After Breaking Up, I Married the General Chapter 14

"Oh! Finally, the results are here!

Open it now, Ryzel!" Lyre said. Acting more excited than Ryzel, who was the one looking for a partner.

"I know; don't lean too much; you can see it even if you're farther away. What's the use of leaning too much?" Ryzel said to Lyre, whose face was just a few inches from his light brain.

"Don't worry about it; just open the results," Lyre urged Ryzel again while sitting properly next to him.

Seeing Lyre follow his instructions properly, he knew that he couldn't really wait to see the results. So, instead of arguing back as usual, he followed his words, not to be delayed by anything.

He really doesn't understand why Lyre was excited. For him, as long as there is a sentinel that can withstand his relatives' power, then the result is already satisfactory.

"Ry, just open it!"

Ryzel, who was urged again by Lyre, clicked the link of the results sent by the Matching Center at exactly seven o'clock.

After he clicked the link, the result appeared:

[Matching Test Result Summary:

Guide: Ryzel Hanes

Age: nineteen (19) years old

Sentinels: two hundred fifty-six (256).

Batch result:

Lower than thirty percent (30%): two hundred fifty-six (256) (click for detailed report)

Higher than thirty percent (30%): zero

Result: There were no compatible sentinels detected.

We encourage you to look for a partner again.]

"WHAT?!

What is this result?!" Lyre exclaimed in surprise.

"Huh? What is the result showing?" Ryzel was shocked; how could the result be showing zero?

The threshold for a sentinel-guide marriage is a thirty percent (30%) matching rate.

Low- and mid-level guides typically have high matching rates with a large number of sentinels.

When high-level guides conduct a match test with low and mid-level sentinels, the results will all be less than thirty percent (30%).

Normally, if they do a match test with high-level sentinels, they would have test results higher than thirty percent.

Of course, there are exceptions; certain high-level guides needed to conduct more match tests before finding a high-level sentinel with a compatibility percentage greater than thirty percent.

The highest record was only approximately one hundred matching tests, and then the guide discovered a high-level sentinel with a match rate of more than thirty percent.

Ryzel looked at the summary result.

[There were no compatible sentinels detected.]

Ryzel was shocked after seeing the summary result.

The threshold matching rate for a guide-sentinel marriage is thirty percent (30%). If a guide and a sentinel cannot even achieve a thirty percent (30%) compatibility percentage, they cannot marry each other.

Low and mid-level guides normally have a higher matching rate than the thirty percent threshold with a lot of sentinels.

For high-level guides, if their partner isn't a high-level sentinel, the match rate wouldn't even reach thirty percent. That's why high-level guides always have a high-level sentinel as a partner.

Of course, there were some exceptions; some high-level guides can't find a partner easily.

The highest record was of a high-level guide who had one hundred match tests before finally finding a high-level sentinel with a match rate higher than thirty percent.

Ryzel looked at the summary report again.

[Matching Test Result Summary:

It is really his name, and the result is really the same.

[No compatible sentinel was found.]

'How can that be possible? '

There were two hundred fifty-six (256) high-level sentinels who participated in the match test, and none were able to reach the threshold.

"How is it possible that none of the two hundred fifty-six (256) high-level sentinels had a compatibility percentage higher than thirty percent with you?!

Are you sure this is really correct? "Lyre, who was as shocked as Ryzel, asked.

"Let's check the detailed report first," Ryzel said.

He wanted to see the detailed results of each of the sentinels he had a match test with and check if there was really no one that reached thirty percent.

[Detailed Match Test Report:

Guide: Ryzel Hanes

Sentinels Matching Rate:

Sentinel 1: five percent (5%)

Sentinel 2: fifteen percent (15%)

Sentinel 3: eleven percent (11%)

Sentinel 4: three percent (3%)

Sentinel 254: Twenty-seven percent (27%)

Sentinel 255: eleven percent (11%)

Sentinel 256: Nineteen percent (19%)

Ryzel and Lyre examined the full results of the matching test and were surprised to see that more than half of the sentinels did not even achieve a match rate of fifteen percent (15%).

The highest matching rate between him and all the high-level sentinels was twenty-seven percent (27).

Among the two hundred fifty-six (256) high-level sentinels, no one really reached the threshold, which is thirty percent (30%).

"Ry, can it be that your relatives interfered with the system's evaluation? "Lyre asked because he couldn't believe such a result.

"No, they can't do it," Ryzel said.

Ryzel knew that the match rate between him and all the high-level sentinels was very high profile.

A lot of people knew about it, especially the families of the sentinels who participated in the matching test.

His family doesn't have enough power to alter the result of such a big event for the matching center.

Even though he didn't want the attention, one of the reasons he allowed Lyre to post about the matching test and make his matching test more visible was to keep his relatives from interfering with it.

"Then, is this really the result of the matching test?" Lyre asked.

"I will call the matching center to confirm this again."

"Yes, you should call the matching center; maybe they sent the wrong file." Lyre nodded in agreement.

Ryzel was aware that the matching center's results were unlikely to contain errors, but he wanted to double-check them.

He didn't want to accept such a disastrous result.
