Neither of them moved.
Xu Yiran said, "I came here to give face to my big brother and the second brother. Tang Xi is very important to me, loving her is significant, and I hope both big brother and second brother can bless this."
Upon hearing this, Fu Tingzhou let out a cold laugh.
The atmosphere inside the private room turned tense, kindling a feeling as if swords were drawn.

Fu Tingzhou was the first to leave.
Xu Yiran swiftly followed suit.
Xu Rongchen, frowning, asked Ji Chenzhi, "Who exactly is Tang Xi? I can understand Xu Yiran liking her, but what about that woman makes Tingzhou also..."
Ji Chenzhi thought for a while, "She is quite a unique person."
"Oh, what’s unique about her?"
Ji Chenzhi continued, "I can’t quite put my finger on it."
Tang Xi comes off as subdued and tranquil.
Not the type that dazzles and catches the eye at first glance.
Ji Chenzhi had known Fu Tingzhou for many years and this was the first time he saw him so concerned about a woman.
Three days since Fu Tingzhou returned to the country, Su Mengshu visited the Fu company three days in a row.
However, each time, Xu Ze used the excuse that President Fu was busy, and she couldn’t even enter his office.
Yet, Su Mengshu persisted in coming every day.
Xu Ze entered the office, "President Fu, Miss Su has come again, the receptionist has escorted her to the guest room."

Su Mengshu clearly didn’t believe Xu Ze’s words, and seemed on the verge of barging in to find Fu Tingzhou. Xu Ze simply relayed indifferently, "President Fu isn’t here, Miss Su, I hope you can leave now, but if you wish to continue waiting, you’re welcome to stay."
Su Mengshu looked at Xu Ze and, not daring to actually break in, had no choice but to sit there, waiting until the evening when Fu Tingzhou walked out, and she quickly approached him.
It had been five months since she had last seen him, since their engagement, and now it had been five months since he went to M country.
Su Mengshu stared at his handsome face, her eyes instantly reddening, "Tingzhou, did I do something wrong, why won’t you see me."
Fu Tingzhou looked at her, apparently not expecting Su Mengshu to still be there.
His voice was as detached and unruffled as always, "Mengshu, did you need something?"
Su Mengshu bit her lip, "Tingzhou, did I upset you somehow? You went abroad for five months, hardly called me, and now you won’t see me."
Looking at the woman in front of him, Fu Tingzhou couldn’t quite explain why, but despite not seeing her for five months, he felt no affection for her, only aversion. Perhaps if she hadn’t saved him during that earthquake back then, he wouldn’t have spared a second glance at Su Mengshu. The man flatly stated, "Mengshu, don’t overthink it."
"Tingzhou," Su Mengshu choked up, clinging to his arm, "Tingzhou, you have no idea how much I’ve missed you."
Fu Tingzhou looked at her, "I’ll have the driver take you home."
"Tingzhou, I’ve booked a restaurant for tonight, let’s have dinner together."
"Not tonight, I have a video conference later. Maybe in a few days, I’ll have Xu Ze contact you."
Su Mengshu, finally seeing him, was unwilling to agree.
Fu Tingzhou gently patted the woman’s shoulder, "Mengshu, be good."
She looked into his eyes, seeing the warning in them, and involuntarily shivered.
