Liliana Manor watched in despair as her boyfriend came over and started groping her.
There was a knock on the door.
A woman’s voice came from outside.
The men exchanged glances, and one of them went to open the door...
Outside the Orchid Garden Hotel, a sports car screeched to a halt at the entrance.
The passenger door swung open.
Carlos and Faye Manor quickly got out, with Faye looking extremely anxious.
After calling the police, they told him it would take a while to locate Liliana Manor.
In desperation, Faye contacted Carlos.
Luckily, Carlos quickly pinpointed Liliana’s location.
As the two were about to enter the hotel, they saw Maria Carter and a few friends standing at the entrance.
Maria Carter was anxiously pacing, waiting for the police to arrive.
"Maria, what are you doing here?"
Carlos was surprised to see his sister; his hacking skills were world-class, and only a few could outpace him.
His sister Maria wouldn’t know these few people.
But right now, he didn’t have time to ask her how she found this place.
Upon seeing her brother, tears began swirling in Maria’s eyes,
"Brother, hurry upstairs.
I’m afraid something has happened to Emily Parker; she went up alone."
Hearing the name Emily Parker, Carlos’s brows furrowed deeply, grabbing Maria’s hand and demanding,
"Why is Emily Parker here? And you let her go up alone?"
Maria was frightened by Carlos’s fierce look, his eyes were bloodshot as if he were a predatory animal, and she stuttered,
"Sister Emily Parker’s friend helped find Liliana’s whereabouts. She said we couldn’t wait for the police and went up by herself, asking us to wait here for the police."
Carlos had a stern face and ignored Maria as he rushed into the hotel.
Maria wiped away her tears; she thought the police would arrive very soon, but unexpectedly, traffic congestion delayed them, and they hadn’t arrived yet. She really made a mistake.
Now, she just hoped that Emily Parker and Liliana would be safe!

Carlos glanced at the tightly closed door.
Screams came from inside the room, Liliana’s voice.
With eyes blazing with anger, Faye Manor kicked the door open.
The moment the door flew open, Carlos’s gaze swept across.
Inside the room, several men were lying on the floor, and a handsome man holding a gun was aiming at Emily Parker.
Startled by the intrusion, the man’s hand trembled as he shouted,
"Don’t come any closer, or I’ll shoot."
He pointed the gun at Emily Parker.
Carlos moved cautiously toward Emily Parker, fearful that the man would harm her.
"Don’t come any closer, I’ll really shoot."
The man was intimidated by Carlos’s demeanor.
Carlos, with bloodshot eyes and devoid of his usual princely air, exuded a fierce aura.
Suddenly, Carlos lunged forward with the agility of a panther and punched the man’s jaw, snatching the gun from his hand.
"Carlos, are you okay? Why are you being so rash? What if he had shot?"
Emily Parker confronted him, her face scolding.
Carlos casually tucked the gun into his pocket, shrugged his shoulders, and feigned insouciance,
"That was a fake gun for scaring people, just like the props I’ve seen in the movie company’s storage, meant to scare you folks."
Emily Parker let out a sigh of relief, glancing at the pocket where Carlos had stowed the gun.
"Go to hell with your fake gun."
The man cried out in pain, clutching his dislocated jaw, the very boyfriend Liliana Manor had previously dated.
He felt as if he had the worst luck in the world to have encountered Liliana’s group.
Was it just a few photos he took?
First, a woman burst in alone, taking down all his brothers.
He was frightened, so he took out a gun he bought from the black market, hoping to scare the intruder away.
It was then when two menacing men rushed in, especially the one in front, who didn’t even flinch at the sight of the gun.
When the police escorted the men away, Emily Parker and Carlos stepped into the elevator together.
"How did you find this place?"
Carlos suddenly asked, Emily Parker was taken aback, and she counter-asked,
"How did you find it?"
Carlos looked at Emily Parker meaningfully, his sexy lips curving slightly,
"I have a friend, too."
Both laughed together, not pursuing further who that friend could be.
