"Little Sophie, didn’t I tell you not to come over?"
"I just ran into Emily Parker in the cafeteria."
The lunchbox had fallen all over the ground, and Adam Willow faced the glances cast from all around him, helplessly pushing up the glasses on his nose.
It was the first time he felt Sophie Parker’s spoiled temper was a bit too much.
"Capital is so big, and she just so happens to come to the hospital cafeteria to run into you?"
"She did it on purpose, she knows we’re about to get engaged, and because Carlos isn’t interested in her, she wants to come back to you."
Sophie Parker suddenly realized she had just lost her composure and hurriedly took out tissues to wipe Adam Willow.
"Sophie Parker, I’m not interested in Adam Willow, it’s not that he doesn’t want me, it’s that I don’t want him anymore."
"As for what happened between Carlos and me, it has nothing to do with you."
Adam Willow frowned deeply at Emily Parker’s words.
Sophie Parker showed a gloating expression,
"Emily Parker, you still won’t admit it. If I were you, I’d go to the hospital parking lot right now."
"Carlos, who’s been ignoring you, is hugging his true love right now."
"I just came from the parking lot, saw it, and even took pictures."

On the screen, Carlos and Rainny White were intimately posed, Rainny leaning against Carlos, who looked full of concern.

In the parking lot of Love & Kindness Hospital, Carlos had just gotten out of the car.
He looked at the time, realizing he hadn’t had lunch yet; Emily Parker should have returned to the small clinic by now.
The woman doesn’t even know how to eat lunch on time, even though she’s pregnant; for the baby’s sake, he should go to the clinic later to bring her lunch.
"Brother Carter, my leg hurts."
As Rainny White was getting out of the car, her little face was crumpled as if she was having trouble walking.
When Carlos reached out to help her out, as soon as she stepped down, her foot hurt, and she leaned into Carlos’s arms.
"I’m afraid I can’t walk."
Rainny White was a bit embarrassed.
She sneaked a look at Carlos; Brother Carter had a great build, looking very strong.
Even just leaning against Brother Carter earlier, she could feel his resilient muscles through his clothes.
He should be able to easily carry her to the emergency room.
Carlos thought for a moment, took off his suit jacket, and draped it over his arm.
Rainny White bashfully lowered her head, waiting for Carlos to pick her up.
But after waiting with her head down for quite a while, Carlos still hadn’t picked her up.
When she raised her head, she saw Carlos walking towards the hospital.
Rainny White looked utterly bewildered.
"You said you couldn’t walk?"
"It’s a little way to the emergency room."
"I’ll go to the hospital and find a wheelchair for you, wait here."

Brother Carter was indeed as dense as wood!
Carlos walked into the hospital, ready to find a nurse to ask where he could borrow a wheelchair.
He didn’t expect not to see any nurses at the nurse station, and as he was about to ask in the inpatient department, he heard a commotion ahead.
A bunch of people was gathered at the cafeteria entrance.
Carlos, being tall, could easily spot a familiar figure in the crowd.
She stood there with several overturned lunchboxes at her feet.
The surrounding people were pointing and whispering at her.
"Rainny White told me she and Carlos have known each other for a long time."
"You knew they liked each other, but you still intruded deliberately and seduced Carlos."
"How shameless are you? Oh, I forgot; like mother, like daughter."
"Your mom was the third party between my parents, and you were born out of wedlock..."
Sophie Parker saw more and more people gathering at the cafeteria entrance, and she became more and more spirited in her speech.
She wanted nothing more than for Emily Parker to be unable to show her face again, never daring to come to Love & Kindness Hospital again.
"Little Sophie, stop it."
Adam Willow tried to pull Sophie Parker away, but she wouldn’t leave and spoke even louder.
Emily Parker stood there amid the pointing, whispering onlookers, facing their strange gazes.
"She and her mom dared to do it but won’t let people talk about it?"
"I’ll say it if I want!"
Sophie Parker said proudly.
All Emily Parker could hear was accusations of being a homewrecker.
Ever since she was little, when she lived in the village, Mother Parker and Aunt Parker would often say bad things about her mother to the village gossips.
When she just reached awareness, other kids even called her a bastard... those were the days Emily Parker least wanted to remember.
Sophie Parker’s annoying voice suddenly faded away.
A pair of hands covered her ears.
A deep, magnetic male voice sounded in her ear. When Emily Parker looked up, she saw Carlos.
Thinking of the photo of Carlos and Rainny White, Emily Parker swung her hand, pushing Carlos away.
Carlos looked utterly baffled, wondering why this woman was so ungrateful!
Emily Parker, without expression, opened the packed lunches in her hand.
She suddenly slammed a lunchbox onto Sophie Parker’s face.
Sophie Parker screamed.
Adam Willow reacted, reaching out to stop Emily Parker, but she backhanded another lunchbox onto him.
"Emily Parker, I’ve had it with you!"
Sophie Parker’s heavily makeup-laden face was now ruined; reaching to grab Emily Parker’s face, her feet in slender high heels slipped on the spilled soup.
Sophie Parker slipped, tumbling in a mess.
Emily Parker took the opportunity to grab Sophie Parker’s hair, slapping her twice.
"You’re right, I have a hard mouth, but my slaps are even harder."
"You can insult me, but you can’t insult my mom."
"My mom had a betrothal with Henry Parker, who happens to be your father."
"My mom even supported your father’s college tuition, but later he pursued wealth and married your mom, while my mom was already showing."
"My mom looked down on a social climber like Henry Parker and broke the engagement."
"If it weren’t for what happened to my mom, I would never want to step into your Parker Family’s door."
"And for you and Adam Willow’s trashy affair, come on, don’t disgust me."

Emily Parker said, pulling hard, and Sophie Parker let out a pig-like scream as Emily yanked out a large clump of her hair.
