Ever since Carlos disappeared, she’s been quite dejected, staying holed up at the Cloud Lake Villa all the time.” She played disdainfully with the pen in her hand, “Looks like she’s planning to retire to the sidelines and become a full-time mom.”

Sophie was caught off guard, falling heavily to the ground. Her dress was soaked with wine stains, her meticulously done hair was disheveled, and her makeup was ruined.
She bawling and wailing rushed back to the private room, pointing at Rainny White, ready to attack: “You bitch! How dare you—”
“Sophie!” Evan Palmer sternly stopped her, “Rainny has been sitting here the whole time and never left!”
Sophie froze in place, struck as if by lightning.
