Zhaodi struggled with his legs, and the distance quickly widened, “Uncle, you walk slower, I can’t keep up.”

“This one? I haven’t taught this yet?” Teacher Chen was somewhat surprised.
“Yes, Teacher, I have reached this point on my own. I understand the other problems, but I can’t quite grasp this one,” Zhaodi emphasized that he was self-studying.
“Good, good, truly worthy of being Jiang Mianmian’s younger brother. Your sister can self-study a semester’s lessons, and you can pre-study half a book ahead. It’s impressive, both you and your sister have great prospects,” Teacher Chen said a bit excitedly.
All the teachers at the commune primary school knew about Jiang Mianmian’s self-studying.
Zhaodi didn’t expect that even when Teacher Chen praised him, she would put Jiang Mianmian ahead of him; she really was like a lingering ghost.
After Teacher Chen had finished explaining the problem, he then explained, “Teacher, I wasn’t late today because I overslept. It was because I studied until too late last night.”

In the classroom, Jiang Mianmian saw that Zhaodi hadn’t come to find her during the break and thought that he had perhaps tactfully decided not to stick to her.
But when the lunch bell rang, just as she was walking out of the classroom, she saw Zhaodi happily running over from the entrance of the second grade.
