Yu Cheng simply sat quietly by her side, just like he used to at the Old Jiang Family’s house, watching her do her homework.
When Jiang Mianmian did her homework, her attention was highly focused, and she could easily ignore everything around her.

Then she turned to Jiang Mianmian and called out, "Mianmian, after you finish the watermelon, go pick the vegetables. I left them by the well."
After taking a bite of the cold, refreshing watermelon, Jiang Mianmian felt a coolness throughout her body.
Yu Cheng also had a face full of contentment and ease.
This really was a magical place, where Little Lamb, Uncle Jiang, and Aunt Wan didn’t need to do anything special to make him feel completely relaxed.
After finishing the watermelon, Jiang Mianmian washed her hands and took a small stool to sit by the well to pick vegetables. Yu Cheng, having nothing else to do, went over to help as well.
"How do you pick these vegetables?" asked Yu Cheng, holding some vegetables.
"; just remove the yellowed ones, and leaves that aren’t crisp," Jiang Mianmian demonstrated with the vegetables in her own hands.
After watching her, Yu Cheng crouched down beside her and began to pick the vegetables.
He looked nothing like the usual prestigious young master from the Capital City. If his buddies saw him now, they would probably be shocked.
Jiang Mianmian saw his tall figure crouching there, as if suffering some grievance, which was both pitiful and cute.

Su Wanyu brought out the last dish and said to Jiang Changhai, "Changhai, come wash your hands. It’s time to eat."

During the meal, the family didn’t adhere to the rule of not speaking while eating, chatting as they ate.
"Yu Cheng, did you come over this time to see your uncle?"
"No, Uncle Jiang, this time I came to pick up Mianmian for a trip around the Capital City," Yu Cheng revealed surprisingly.
