"Mm-hmm," Jiang Mianmian nodded, feeling that Yu Cheng was quite reliable at crucial moments.
Aunt Sun finally relaxed, "Then it’s settled."
"Yay, then it’s decided!" Jiang Mianmian happily hugged Aunt Sun and swayed a little.

Frankly, she wanted to mooch a ride in the Yu Family’s car.

The two took the car to the department store, where Jiang Mianmian bought enough fabric for five outfits and some other small materials and embellishments needed for sewing, happily making her way back.
When they returned, Aunt Sun had just finished cleaning up. Seeing Yu Cheng arriving with big and small packages, she hurried forward to take them.
"Oh, you bought a lot of stuff."
Jiang Mianmian explained, "Aunt Sun, these are for making clothes later. It’s rare that we go out, so I bought everything we needed in one trip."
The department store was quite far from the military residential compound, so they needed the driver to come back and pick them up, and Jiang Mianmian felt bad for always troubling others.
After a rest at home, Jiang Mianmian pulled Aunt Sun to the storage room to start making clothes.
When Elder Yu returned home, he noticed the living room was empty and quiet, not a soul in sight, only hearing the occasional ’tap tap tap’ sound from the sewing room.
Curiously, he peeked inside and found all three family members were there. "What are you all doing?" he asked.
"Grandpa," Yu Cheng was the first to notice the old man.
Jiang Mianmian cheerfully called out, "Grandpa Yu, you’re back!"
His stern expression softened somewhat, influenced by her enthusiasm.
Jiang Mianmian then explained, "Grandpa Yu, it’s . I made a dress for the Sister of Cheng Family yesterday, and at the party, many ladies and aunties liked it and asked me to make orders. I took a few orders."
"You little girl, you can make clothes too?" Elder Yu was somewhat surprised.
