Yu Cheng asked for the menu and handed it to Jiang Mianmian. "Here, Little Lamb, it’s your turn to order. Just choose whatever you want to eat; don’t be polite. Brother Tang is treating us, and his family is rich."
"Ah, isn’t that inappropriate? Let’s wait until everyone arrives before ordering," Jiang Mianmian said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Seeing that Jiang Mianmian hadn’t opened it yet, Cheng An urged her, "Mianmian, open it up and see if you like it."
When Jiang Mianmian opened Cheng An’s gift, she saw a very realistic Barbie doll that could change clothes, making it the perfect present for a little girl.
"Thank you, Brother Cheng An, I really like it." Though Jiang Mianmian was past the age of playing with dolls, she thanked him sincerely.
"It’s nothing. I’m glad you like it," Cheng An said, pleased by Jiang Mianmian’s ’liking’ it.
Xu Sheng’s gift was a set of LEGO models, seemingly simple to build, and a type meant to stimulate the intellect.
"Mianmian, do you like models? I’ve heard you’re a Little Prodigy, so this shouldn’t be too difficult for you, right?" Xu Sheng asked with a smile.
"Thank you for the gift, Brother Xu Sheng. I can build models, no need to worry. This one definitely won’t stump me," Jiang Mianmian said confidently.
"Haha, that’s great. Once you’ve built this one, next time I’ll give you something a bit more complex."
As they were talking, Tang Lin and He Ping arrived together.
"Why have you guys only just arrived?" Cheng An asked nonchalantly.
"We were picking out a gift for Mianmian, which took some time," Tang Lin said as he shook the little box in his hand. They had spent a good while selecting it in a store, not knowing what Jiang Mianmian liked.
"I called you guys yesterday, and you said you weren’t coming," teased Cheng An.
"Had something on yesterday, you know. Not everyone is as idle as you," Tang Lin said with a smile, a slight dig at Cheng An.
"Hmph, I won’t bother talking to a hypocrite like you." Cheng An never won in exchanges with Tang Lin, but he still liked to provoke him.
"Here you go, Mianmian, Brother Tang’s gift. Open it and see if you like it," said Tang Lin as he passed the gift to Jiang Mianmian.
Upon opening the gift box, Jiang Mianmian found a limited-edition Hero Brand pen inside, which had been marked up to a high price due to its limited availability.
"Thank you, Brother Tang Lin; I really like it," thanked Jiang Mianmian joyfully.
These brand pens were exceptionally good, robust and durable with smooth writing. The only downside was their price.
"I figured that you, Little Prodigy, would also appreciate something for your studies," Tang Lin said with a smile.
